Character Ownage

Hey how about that time Surfer got an "upgrade", but doesn't seem like he's much more powerful than before said upgrade? Or that time his divergent self merged back with his 616 self after the Unilord Saga, but doesn't seem to be much more powerful or let alone 2x as powerful?

Or how about that time for years on end bits and pieces of Thor's soul was torn from him every time Odin gave a portion of his power to other "Thors" and or shared his soul with a mortal half, but doesn't seem like he has ascended to skyfather levels on every appearance after he was made "whole again".

Surfer and Thor must be beyond heralds by now. Blah blah blah.

Thor has never been shown to be weakened by his "soul" tempered with which was only shown in Blood and Thunder anyway and no writer ever picked on it.

There is a year long mystery going on upon who split Superman and is currently being addressed among several titles and writers.

The very same posters who are saying that Superman is not powered up said the exact opposite when it came to their own favorites. So until and unless he is shown or stated to be powerful as before, he is indeed powered up.

Then an army of Hulk's

This was done with just a portion of Hulk power that he did not get back and still have not gotten back. Now think about the fts he's performed with all of this power still missing from his tank.

The heroes were converted from gamma rays and all the power Rulk had absorbed from all the beings he fought including Uatu, Odin Force Thor etc.
And hulk got all his power back specifically in IH 611.

Lol.. B&T was a 13 issue long story with more than one writer that highlighted this fact of power sharing, plus around 4-5 issues leading up to it.

There were only two writers Ron Marz and Jim Starlin in the whole crossover. Starlin never mentioned anything like Thor being powered down.

Iirc it even states how Thor "was a shadow" of himself in times past. And another writer or writers have touched upon this fact of power sharing(Thor's power) in issues way past this arc.

Yes, Thor's psyche was shattered due to manipulation from Odin and he started hallucinating. BTW it was fixed when he killed Valkyrie, not that his "lost powers" were restored to him.

What writers have shown Thor being weaker after he "gave" his power to BRB or whatever?
