That bit of Superman vs Thor manliness was fun to read.
But truth to be told I think Thor got the worst end of things when it comes to it.
He was basically castrated when Marvel decided to take the mallet away from him and giving it to Jane Foster the nurse secretary damsel in distress of the old times. That was pretty bad. Worst case of emasculation I have seen on comics.
As for Superman 4 is not a bad film if you are 12 and I saw it when I was 12 so no regrets it was a good memory of the time. I also like the old Superman Movies 1 and 2, 3 is ok for kids too. (I'm ready to get banned Pr 😛 )
The other Superman films I guess I can live with out them and yes the Superman games suck except for that vintage Arcade Taito game based loosely on the Muhamed Ali vs Superman comic. I could finish that game with a single coin.

Superman Returns wasn't crap (the game, not the movie. That movie can **** right off). It was actually all right, and had plenty of good to contrast with the bad.
Also, I flat out refuse not to count FFVTTR as a Superman game, because I could play as Superman in it, and it was AMAZING.

Cable anticipated burning out eventually. He had not reached that point yet. Surfer, AKA the "unexpected wild card" brings him close to burn out and death. Deadpool's lobotomy saves him by stopping his power completely.
Even this contradicts you notion that Cable is burned out before fighting Surfer. Surfer brings him close to a point that Cable anticipated would come in the future. Read carefully.

Surfer didn't do anything except stretch an already burning out Cable.
It is even said in the recap for next issue.

At no point was Galactus portrayed as somehow noticeably inferior to any one. Struggling with no real progress against 1/2 Dark Celestials means just that, they are his peers. The entire point of that scene was to convey background fighting among peers while highlighting Ego-Primes new stature.
Ego Prime was significantly upgraded by the Life Bringer which is the reason for his new found power.
1) Where do we see conclusively that Galactus dies? That is an obvious cliffhanger, kind of late to call it don't you think?
2) How does dying from the collapse of the superflow while they fight in conceptual space make Galactus Universal level only?
3) What is wrong with you?
4) Where does Infiniaut kill one? I see him blasting one in the background a few times with not much happening.
