I don't see ftl. Didn't Hal leave transluminal space into regular physical space?
Hal was travelling fast enough without it so that he was in danger

He WAS moving at transluminal velocity in transluminal space. His constructs breaking apart was a low showing I think. In regular physical space, he was in danger of entering the speed force as he approached c. At least that's how I read it.
And Lightray was moving far faster than light to reach the end of the universe basically.

Star Wars:
Jesus, Artoo stomped an entire legion of Storm Troopers on their own turf.... Even the comics make them look like a band of inept feebs. /facepalm
Tbf, Artoo is by far the competent character throughout the original movies.
This issue was just generally awesome though.

And even in 'normal' space, GLs still have FTL travel speed... But even that speed taken to its absolute max(to the point where Hal's constructs were crumbling against the strain) wasn't even enough to begin to catch Lightray initially... In fact, Hal actually LOST ground, lol.

Check GL corps 26. Hal and Kyle use transluminal space to reach the system Orion was in. U see how they left the space and go into real physical space. Pretty much what Hal did here i think.

Kyle has travelled ten light years in his construct car, casually:

To push Hal's constructs to their limit, and to create a speed force black hole, is ridiculous.

...But you know someone is going to try and act like pre-Flashpoint material isn't canon, lol.

Always thought that when u use transluminal space, ure basically folding space to reach a destination that would have taken ages even if one was going at lightspeed.

Yeah. He was about to go c hence the speed force thing. Imo.
Nope, GLs can reach transluminal speed and so can their constructs in real space.

I posted scan from that same comic. It's a connected pathway which allows speed faster than light. Just like hyperspace in marvel.

I read comics for crazy shit like this, not political commentaries like 99% of marvel.

It's like Thor getting disoriented when DSentry flew him at ftl. It basically never happens, but it happened. Comic inconsistencies 4tl.

Then, as stated on panel, Lightray was becoming fatigued.
Originally posted by abhilegendOh I agree. Even though it's a mess so far, I'll still take Dark Nights over the politically motivated SJW-propaganda that Marvel has been slinging en gros as of late. 👆
Hey, it's convoluted and ridiculous but it's crazy awesome. I will take that against boring events like Secret Empire any day.I read comics for crazy shit like this, not political commentaries like 99% of marvel.
