The resistance to kryptonite/red sun also varies, depending on the needs of the plot. As does magic. They're irrelevant to a character's placement. Batman might even be portrayed [and has] as giving Superman fits with a simple kryptonite ring, while Wonder Woman was KO'd across the solar system while wearing the same one.
Aquaman ambushing him with both of his weaknesses means nothing, as far as Superman's power goes, unaltered by his weaknesses. It's a badass scene though, which is why I posted it.

Crazy thing is, Parralax in a kids body was able to 2 shot Superman. He admitted his power increased when he transferred over to Superman body and Sinestro was still able to take him out with a casual blast.
