When was this?

Greg Pak is the best writer in comic history minus Aaron.

Seriously? Aaron is ok at times but Pak doesnt have a quintessential run

I'm always surprised that when tourneys come up, people don't pick the characters they're always gushing over.

I think it shows who's trolling for attention, really.

Abhi: Superman is the strongest, fastest, most wisest character of all time!

Id: OK everyone, pick a character who you think would win in a forum battle

Abhi: oh erm....

Same goes for the Hulk fans.

Aaron always respected him !and! your pathetic Hulk.

When? Against Ares?

Basically. Many times its cuz deep down they dont want to lose. Do you even have a fave saint? You are kind of all over the place

Pak hasn't written any of Wolverine/Ares confrontations.

Think harder.

You.

Apart from that, I like them all. I actually am anti-idiot posters, rather than anti-Thor, or anti-Batmsn.

Phoenix Endsong and Warsong. They're not well written, but they aren't as bad as say, AvX.

Didn't Pak do Planet Hulk? That was good.

Ditto. I tend to debate for the underdog is close matches or for lesser knowns.

Yea but Carver doesnt like PH or atleast doesnt admit its Paks crowning achievement

If anything, I'm kinda glad you think I'm all over the place.

It shows I'm fairly unbiased.

Unless by all over the place, you're referring to the quality of my output.....

If anything, I'd say I prefer scenarios (and hence, characters) who don't just rely on overpowering the other. They can be fun and all, but I favour intelligence over brawn.

Yeah, it's probably his best work too.

Slugfests are boring and devolve immediately. But fights like GL vs Mags require thinking outside the box.

Your post quality is fine.

Greg Pak isn't even fit to lick the boots of the great writers of the genre.

Pak's only achievement is to have written one of the only two memorable Hulk arcs.

There is Future Imperfect and there is Planet Hulk. The Green Goliath hasn't had any other memorable arc in its whole history.

Hulk: Gray and...Hard Knocks are well written. Hulk The End is also a dope read but thats a stand alone

I'm sorry, but...

.. weren't those two EXTREMELY inconsistently writter?

You may be right about quality, but damn. Englighten me.

I'm not saying they were trash, just saying they have a REALLY bad red.

And if I'm wrong, correct me, just as I have corrected Pr on Jason Aaron. Amen.

This thread needs to get back to its roots...

I might be reading into this too much, but in the most recent issue of GL, the power of three Golems was required to begin freeing Yuga Khan(and it still seemed like a relatively slow process):

Conversely, Superman alone physically ripped Darkseid from it:

...Thoughts? mmm
