Both of these fights were prolong fights whereas Superman was dropped with a single hit. There's a huge difference here but again, KMC just couldn't let it go.

Here is the important part. The guy he took out was 'new to his power'. Superman shouldn't have been taken out, period. There shouldn't have even been this type of exchange and Superman admits that the only reason it was easy was due to experience, not power. Let's not make excuses. If Jane Thor knocks Thor with Mjlonir out, you, ABHI, along with a couple of Superman fanatics would use that against him. Bias is becoming as plane as day.

Zod Junior is powerful.
Superman is experienced.
Superman having to "dig deep" and overpower a kid doesn't take away from the fact that kid is powerful enough to one shot him.
The way I see it, Zod's kid is probably stronger then Superman was at his age.
This version of Zod Sr. is clearly in a class of his own, power wise. And Ursa is no slouch. Stands to reason his kid would inherit that strength.
But Supes makes up the difference with his years of experience. While Zods were sitting in the Phantom Zone, Clark was learning different ways to use his powers, like his "all or nothing" nova strike.
It's like arm wrestling. Strength can be beaten by technique.
