Character Ownage

The annoying part isn't the artwork , it's you being unable to properly use thumbnails, if you'd be able to do that people could just scroll through in 1 second instead of 6 hours to get past DC characters only hardcore DC fanboys care about. You are well welcome to contribute here just do it properly.

I mentioned that already. Hulk was being mind-controlled by the Challenger there. Ergo his different demeanor and such.

I don't think that was mind control. I would say they were rather setting up the upcoming IMMORTAL HULK book, which will supposedly feature horror elements. They talked about how when Bruce Banner dies the immortal Hulk wakes up... or he comes out at night or whatever. It sounded like they would portray Hulk differently than they have before, for the sake of a new direction. So it will probably be some kind of a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde story, where Hulk acts differently than he would as Bruce Banner-Hulk.

On top of that Hulk went against what the Challenger had intended him to do in the end, so that's one more argument against mind control.

I hope they do that.

Hulk used to be like a werewolf. Banner would wake up with no memory, and he only emerged at night.

I always did like that part of his character. Whenever Bruce's will would slip for even a moment, the hulk would take over.

Roo, Thor stalemated Gemless Champ. And Thor, Hulk, Champ and Plot Device had a free for all match to determine who was the strongest.

Thor, Hulk and the Promoter weren't bragging or down with each other, so it's possible Champion won...

lmao at Champion attacking thor from behind

could anyone explain to me the new canon on the DC universe/multiverse? kinda got lost when i read the recent DC metal. from what understood is that there are only finite universes in the DCU but with the events in Metal it became infinite? that and the monitor thing doesnt add up to me.

Bendis is coming.

I'm sure.

- The forge is active, but still requires the forger. It’s likely he will come back or someone to take his place
- The source wall was destroyed and some entities came out. A lot of the old gods supposedly return to the source wall when they die so it’s likely they may come back now
- The DC structure is still the same with the addition of universe 53 and the Dark Multiverse
- The original monitor from COIE is back. He has been recovering from the last crisis (unsure if it final crisis or COIE). Unsure with Nix fits in all this now.

Can’t seem to quote you

Hulk>>Champion>Thor

Hmmm, so these 4 space Gods are NOT from the other side of the Source Wall.

Williamson: We started talking about the fun stuff we could do with ‘What would happen if the Source Wall broke?’ Aquaman says at the end of Metal No. 6, ‘We’re just small fish in a small fishbowl, and now we’re poured out into the ocean.’ What does that mean to these characters? Is that scary, or is that fun? The universe is so much bigger than we thought it was! Do they embrace that idea, or do they react badly and feel smaller than ever, and react violently to that? And, what was the Source Wall, we get to explore that, and what’s on the other side of it? Is anything coming through that wall? Do we get to go through that wall? It’s been a lot of fun to explore these ideas.

Scott has had this really big vision he’s been talking about for years, especially with James, you’ve been talking Metal with Scott since he started working on Batman. James and I actually went out to Scott’s house last fall and we started talking about what it actually means for the DCU, the Source Wall breaking. That’s where No Justice came from — we create these four new epic space gods who, essentially, start to act because of the Source Wall breaking. They’re scared too; they’re not from beyond the Source Wall, they’re from our universe, and when the Source Wall breaks, they’re nervous. The same with Brainiac; he’s nervous and scared. That’s how much of a big deal it is — Brainiac has to come down here to Earth and say, ‘I need your help, but not in the forms you’re in right now. The forms I’m going to put you in? That’ll work.’

Whoever is coming from the other side, must be pretty uber. Latest from Francis's Instagram. Love the art.

I sent you a Private Message.

It'll make you cum, I swear.

Are those Green thing Lanterns?

Yeah.

Manapul: That was actually a key moment for the book. I remember we had gone through a few versions of that moment, and when you’re doing a double-page spread, the natural inclination is to have the characters front and center. It’s kind of like a money shot, the people are there to see a big shot of the Green Lanterns. But in this case, in that spread, when you’re seeing the Source Wall breaking open, you have to draw them as little dots. You can barely see the Green Lanterns, but I think that spread is an indication of how big the story is.

If the SW is breaking open, why don't they just have ol' 'God-Will' Jordan seal it back up..?

whats the guardians relations to the source ?

None that we know of.

As of now, the only Corpsman with any sort of relationship with the Source is WL Kyle -- he went through the Source Wall, and discharged his energy into the Source itself in order to save creation.
