Yeah, agreed. Am pointing out that pre 52, when she had the lasso around someone, that was a big deal. Her home was at risk. DS had just teleported half of Argus. He has killed her dad (who she needed help from last time).
You talk about mental gymnastics with DS, when his objective was at stake - WONDER WOMAN'S objective was also at stake. And she didn't stop him.
One can point to the Hulk/Zeus fight, if you wanted to bait. Hulk wasn't there to fight, etc etc. Here, DS wasn't there to fight etc etc.

Well all those attacks had him spitting blood, and even when Darkseid tried restraining her he was getting fisted.
And this fight was obviously much less high end than Odin vs Jane.

Right, because until you get punched around the solar system like a ragdoll, you don't get a high showing.
Jane was beating Odin far more badly than this. Darkseid at the end looked no worse for wear, Odin was a bloody mess.

It's about what is expected of an all-out Wonder Woman against Darkseid that is casual and has an objective to fulfill [which he did]. Casually *****-slapped her to the ground, grabbing her, telling her it's futile, while it took her multiple attacks just to give him pause, then he got up like nothing happened. He wasn't on the offensive at any point.

I did not want a fight out of this... which is what happened. I expected her to lasso him up. I wanted at the most her to land a shot and then get slapped away like she's insignificant.
What I really wanted was him to one shot her though. And I hope this is their last fight, but I doubt it...

Darkseid barely spit blood by a two handed punch from Diana and suddenly it's the end of the world?
Sure, Odin gets a pass. But he was bloodlusted and actually trying to kill Jane. Darkseid phoned the entire fight here.
