Also, that nobody has no feat yet. To try and downplay him because he has no feat is idiotic. I guess we can start making fun of Antimonitor since he lost to a nobody called Nekron...

What kind of logic is that

Yeah, I don't get why Rage brought Brainiac up, anyway. Brainiac is a TEAM threat. At best, he's multiversal level.

I just want to know what would need to be said in a comic for a Thor fan to realize Thor was going all out. What key words or action would make them believe this?

Hulk has a healing factor right, maybe Thor was thinking that if he cuts up the hulk, the hulk will heal anyway.

.. Sorry double post.

He literally just defeated the ENTIRE JL/TEEN Times, and a few villians within a few panels, and somehow, it was a low blow to Superman

An avatar of Brainiac almost had the power to warp the entire universe. That's just one aspect. TRUE Brainiac was a threat to the entire multiverse. It doesn't look bad on Superman's part if he can't beat him solo. LMAO.

question for anyone reading Mr. Miracles current ongoing...what are the capabilities of his motherbox sword? is it like Bekkas?

You're applying logic, the entire point was that if you warp facts, use incredible bias and do what certain "individuals" do, you can make anyone look bad.

You think if Bendis introduced a brand new character and had him beat the absolute shit out of Thor or a telepath had Thor on his knees, there would be fair and non-bias opinions?

We both know the answer to that question....substitute Thor for Superman in this scan:

https://postimg.cc/image/o6uxze293/

We would read for 3 pages, how Thor is really weak, unable to defeat Brainaic with his full strength or even damage him, and had his punch palmed, and was EXPLICITLY (They really love that word) getting overpowered. We'd also read about how weak Brainiac's durability was if telepathy can destroy him. These are such likely arguments, I'd bet money on them.

Everyone teases and trolls, but Philo/Abhiligend/PG have made more Thor related threads in the last few months, than I have in the last two years...

Ftr, I do agree there was context in the Brainiac scene, but I also don't think Superman was in any position of winning atm because he was still defiant, albeit not with the heart he had before.

Except Thor doesn't gets beaten by new characters, he gets beaten up by existing characters who are supposed to be his peers and never gets a chance for recompense.

Thor does not gets made fun of because he couldn't beat a team villain.

No, you're just being way too bias

Thor got shit on by things he wouldn't get hurt by a few years ago. You can try and make this about Superman all you want butt honestly, it's not.

You wanted to show a scan of Braniac being Superman but you probably should have gone with another scan. That scan didn't do anything. We see Superman clearly being "enlighten". Hell, Briance pretty much defeated the entire JL cast, Siniestro, Starro..etc. Some this is equivalent to Thor losing to Hulk? Really?

FTR, I don't really see the problem with Thor losing to Chulk. I do have a problem with him losing in basically one hit...

In what sense?

I'm not saying it is equivalent, I am saying that any showing that has a negative connotation can be championed into something more. Buddy, when Thor fought Gorr, "people" lowballed it. The caliber of the opponent matters, but not by much.

I agree, it's a shit showing imo, and disrespectful, even if you think he was setting a trap.

He wasn't setting shit, Woo and T'Challa just easily manipulated him.

"Hey, big guy. Go and fight the Hulk, you love it."

"YES!!!!!! FOR ASGARD!!!!!!!!!"

The match has yet to fully finish between them, Thor isnt scared of Chulk, and his goal was not to kill if you read the comic you would know Thor wasnt going for the kill here. Than would like to mention Thor stayed away from his weather manipulation and ect which is odd..

He had lightning coming off of his ax and do you believe a tornado wouldve changed the outcome of the fight?

Looked to me like Thor was playing his part in the team strategy to take Hulk down without killing him. He had to be the one to take the hits at the end because he's really the only one who can take those kinds of hits. If we must compare to Superman, we've seen Superman play this part before. Especially in team fights. Supes will look beaten but then he smiles because he was basically just playing decoy.

Thor speaks too coherently in the last panel to have truly been KO'ed, and he wouldn't be nearly that calm if he was truly outmatched.

I always thought it was cool how those moments Superman was taking a huge beating, and you think he's in danger for a moment, and he's then reveals it was all part of the plan with a smile and you breathe a sigh of relief.

Those moments really stood out in the classic JLA. 👆

This was back before I visited battle boards though and I was a young little thunderer...

Also to be fair knock out and full recovery isn't a set time...and Thor could have very well been knocked clean out...but recover in the space of Hulk picking him up
