in terms of what? because the v30 has some of the best audio ive ever heard. blows any flagship out of the water. the majority of people use phones for music, watching videos and texting and making calls. v30 is the true mvp.

The V30 doesnt have stereo speakers but the S9 does. The V30 display is decent but the S9 is far better. The V30 was/is experiencing display issues; patches in the screen. The camera is good but it isnt close to being the best. DXO mark ranked the V30 iirc 92 for the camera, the S9 is a clear 99 and the front facing camera on the V30 is trash. The S9 was ranked the BEST display on any smartphone. The V30 is a decent phone but it isnt close to the best. If you need confirmation of anything I said, let me know.

I've actually stopped caring about phone specs years ago. Used to be a big thing with me, I remember getting all worked up over a 2mp camera on the latest Nokia, lol.
I mean, yes, ghostman, am sure the V30 has great audio playback specs. But A: what matter more is the original music file you're playing, and B: does it really matter when all I'm playing is Justin Bieber? I think not...

Not many people care about speakers on a phone though, just get good decent headphones.
I got the treblabs Bluetooth in ear headphones and they blow most $350 headphones out of the water. The bass, clarity and noise cancelation are top notch. I use them at 30% and think I may be going deaf. Gotta cut back. Lol.

who cares about stereo speakers when the majority of people use earphones lmao. the v30 has a superior audio system with its quad dac system and it destroys any other phone in sound quality. the s9 was/is experiencing display issues too, deadzones, color issues, detailing, yellow tint etc.. ill give you the camera. sorry but the v30 audio capabilities put it ahead of any smartphone. watching movies and listening to music on this thing is godlike.

it doesnt matter what file, whether its FLAC, ALAC, mp3 OGG etc... it is noticeable to a major degree... but im kind of an audiophile so...

im talking about internal audio not speakers though.
i have some sennheiser m2s, best 90 bucks i have ever spent.

Im not saying people can't tell the difference, I'm sure you can but most people don't buy their smartphones because of it's speaker.

The speakers are good but the S9 is still better...lol. It have Dolby atmos on the S9. No comparison.
The S9 doesnt have any of the issues you are talking about and again, it was ranked the best display on any phone. People that are experiencing issues are people that doesnt know how to take care of OLED screens. The LG issues is right out of the box issues.

I literally told you about the OLED issues when not taking care of the screen. I already knew about that because I am subscribed to androidauthority. This is why I said "out of the box issues vs OLED issues.
