Didn't Fraction make Odin rape Gaia?

His stories weren't that bad, but his characterization was off to say the least. My favorite was in Fear Itself when he'd get all sweet and fatherly at times. Then you compare Odin to other Fraction depictions, even within FI and it stood out how that was not how he ever really depicted him.

Robert Rodi wrote that, actually.

He was being 100% true to Stan Lee and Kirby's insane narcissistic tyrannical serial abuser Odin, at least.

Dude, you've said this before but it still doesn't even make sense. What is your reasoning for this? If you actually have relevant evidence you want to bring up, we can make a separate thread, and we can analyze his Odin from JIM #112 to Thor #192 if you want.

I know statistically speaking, you probably didn't know your father or have a good relationship with him, but an authoritative figure is not by definition tyrannical.

adjective: tyrannical

exercising power in a cruel or arbitrary way.

Nothing Odin EVER did was cruel or arbitrary. All his actions were justified, or had other motivations, that were objectively for the greater good. And the person he was most harsh on, was Thor, because he expected the best out of Thor. And while Thor was sometimes angry at this, he understood and always rose to the challenge.

It was justified. Speaking of justified rape, someone should look in to brining back prima nocta.

Wait, where did Odin rape Gaea? Issue number?

Thor: For Asgard #3

Thor For Asgard is non canon I think.

Marvel database has it marked as 616.

Canon or not, let's not act like this sort of behaviour from Odin is surprising, lol.

Shadowland was indeed decent, Spider-Island was cool, Annihilation was also awesome. Most events from back then were still average at best aside from a few chose ones.

I'm kind of thorn about the Thanos Imperative though. It was better than anything else in which the Annihilators appeared, Chaos War and War of Kings, but I still remember it as being a middle-of-the-pack event.

Yeah, the Fearless was cool, sort of a Defenders mini with a grounded enough balance. I liked its premise.

Shadowland was good at first, but the ending sucked.

You racist monster.

I knew you couldn't stomach an idea of a BLACK MAN FROM AFRICA taking Daredevil's place as Hell's Kitchen's guardian...

Lol. At least half of it was good

PSA: Read Infinity Countdown: Black Widow folks.

Looks lame af.

I didn't read any of Fraction's Thor... But I did read Fraction's X-Men. Him taking over from Brubaker is literally the point where X-Men started the slump that it still hasn't recovered from.

Barry is about to become the strongest hero in DCU

Never understood y Marvel and DC have to shit out events every couple months. Just make interesting character stories and one shots. Not everything needs to be e a cross company cash grab.

I prefer events as long as they don't get crossed over to another characters

It's so painfully having to catch on some old comics. Marvel is the worst
