Argentina continue to suffer because the centre of their midfield is shit. Mascherano is not the player he once was; he shouldn't even be in the squad. And they are desperately missing a Veron-type player that can set the tempo of a game.
They continue to be overly-reliant on Messi even though everyone they play knows to just crowd him when he gets the ball.

exactly. and i just couldnt believe that as usual, the coach didnt let aguera in from the beginning.aguera actually scored the last goal but it was too late. argentina didnt have strikers because all its strikers were on the bench. argentina didnt have defence and the goalkeeper was just a free pass. messi actually did well for someone in his position. he was guarded like he is in prison and he made 2 great coockings. argentina would still win if it wasnt for MBAPE he was too fast and good for them to handle.

Portugal suffered from many of the same issues. Ronaldo, cheating little **** that he is, is still really damn talented, but there's a gulf between him and the rest of the team. Their defence is poor. Their midfield, bar Carvalho (who's a solid DM imo) is average at best. And up front, outside of Ronaldo, they don't have any great players. Quaresma is talented as hell, but he's not the player he was 5-10 years ago either.

Pym was unstable, sure. He did a lot of ****y shit, and I think he's actually a character that is a good example of what happens when someone with mental health issues doesn't get the help they need. I'm not excusing the crap he did otherwise.
I just hate how some writers (like Bendis especially), use the wife-beating thing to shit all over him. I mean, sure, it's canon, but it's also petty as **** considering that other characters have done that shit but haven't bee defined by it.
