Sometimes I wonder why superfanboys do that: they're so fast to dismiss everything that another powerful hero (usually from Marvel) does. "
Abhi"is the worst, but no one take him seriously, so it doesn't matter.
I believe I found the answer: they're very insecure, extremely insecure. I understand their reason, though: it's hard being a dc and superman fanboy nowadays. Marvel is kicking their asses in both comics and movies.
Concerning the comics, superman is not even the second biggest seller from dc (or better, Batman comics for obvious reasons). This honor belongs to the Flash since the Rebirth thing. Now superman gets Bendis (LOL); maybe he'll get better. Not that this matters anyway: dc is a distant 2nd place...
Concerning the merchandising...He's way bellow the Avengers, Batman and Spider-man. Even Wonder Woman is doing better. LOL. Again, it's no surprise, superman is character that is becoming more and more irrelevant with time, which is even more obvious when you analyse the movies... Let's go.
Concerning the movies...Where should I begin? His last successful and relevant was superman 2 in 1980... After that, 2 movies so bad that it's better not to discuss them. Then, a couple of failed projects that never seen the light of the day.
years passed, and we got the mediocre superman returns, which failed to start, for the 1st time, a franchise. More years passed, and no one wanted to touch the character, even hack snyder...A couple more years, and snyder accepted the "
challenge! Man of Steel, supposed to start a superman franchise, had mediocre reception and disappointing box office... WB panicked and made the "
sequel" a Batman movie (with the opportunity to introduce WW, which worked, by the way): another crap movie where superman died and no one cared (LOL). Justice League does even worse, and the only thing that people remember about it is the "super mouth" with to many memes! LOL.
On the other hand, I don't need to talk about the Marvel brand and how successful their movies are. Particularly, the last Thor movie was an incredible success both with critics and the audience, not to mention Thor was the most important and impressive hero in one of the biggest movies ever!
I know, it must be very painful for you guys. I understand you. 😂

100%. After reading the full context, it should be obvious.
Thor's lightning bolt packed so much power, Knull was hurt and was visibly shocked galaxies away. Perhaps more impressively, so were his avatars across the Universe. Knull is well into the Cosmic Tier for no apparent reason, so I think anything that can do actual damage is super impressive.
The exact quote is: "Your Thunder God unleashed a power I had never before felt on all the worlds I had wrapped my Horde around."
As I mentioned earlier, this only implies that Knull had never encountered a power like Thor's on any planet he had overtaken with his Symbiote Horde(which isn't very surprising, as Thor is quite unique throughout the universe.) It certainly does NOT imply that Thor was more powerful than 'any' being Knull had 'ever' encountered(ie. the Celestials), however. I sure hope no one would be so foolish as to take the line that far out of context, lol.

sorta got that ant-man vibe to it, but at the same time it has it's own humor style that's different from marvel. I like it

Pretty rare to see someone post on this thread how Thor>Superman.
Like, what even prompted the comparison to Superman?
You took the opportunity to try to shit on Superman and some fans? Where are these exaggerated feats? can you post some? it's not like a certain Thor fan tried to overhype a feat and had to take his words back.
Superman below Avenger? No shit, it only takes a minimum of 5+ heroes to over take Superman in merchandise sales? 😂 And that's likely post Marvel movies.
Movies? Yeah, 2/3 Thor movies didn't even turn a profit. They were considered bad by the studios that Marvel was forced to pair Thor with 5+ supporting characters to get some sales up. congrats? 😂 Thor will never get another solo movie. He can't carry it. Marvel has made him into a pun, a joke, and a comedic character. He will now always require supporting heroes in his movies.
But do go on, tell me how Superman is irrelevant
😆
