Although if the writers know their stuff, the sword "shouldn't" really hurt anyone who's good.

It appears they want to do an actual heroes in a walking dead universe type of scenario, instead of zombie heroes vs. heroes, hence only heroes that operate on a lower level are present.
Yeah, but the character on that cover looks like The Zombie/Simon Garth... Which would be awesome.
Anywho, this new story must take place in an alternate zombie universe, because in the original universe, Spider-Man/Falcon/Daredevil were all zombified:

But if this is being written by Maxwell Prince, it will be... Interesting, to say the least. That dude writes some weird shit.
Later on in the Marvel Zombies event/number of minis they started to travel into other universes, they even made short contact with the 616. This will probably be one of the ones they ravaged with some remaining heroes.
Yeah after a quick google search he looks like Garth, I've never read anything with him though.

In the English version, he did make an exclamation of pain, though. And stated to the effect "Let me guess, magic,"
In the end, it still wouldn't be the best feat if only because the Sword is established as not allowing Lion-O to harm anyone who isn't evil, as was recently reinforced in the Thundercats/MOTU crossover.
