Is that why supes appeared so...feeble? Mind control? And how is Joker controlling MM. It kinda seems all over the place. Where should I start to figure it out

He's been carefully building this since More Than Meets the Eye #1 first shipped, and since Unicron marks the end of the IDW Transformers era, he's sort of forced to wrap his epic up. So we get Unicron attacking Cybertron, and at the same time we get an alternate universe Cybertron creating a giant Primus to conquer the mainstream universe, as they have their own (Dubbed the "Functionist Universe", because a religion called Functionism super erred the Autobot/Decepticon existance, and turned into a holy crusade against all non Transformer life everywhere. Ironically, Mainstream Megatron becomes their biggest obstacle.)

Follow these links. There is a lot going on, but it's well paced, IMO. Snyder has like 50 issues planned for this big story, but each arc will focus on a different member. Next arc is Aquaman. Snyder is nothing like Morrison, so I don't know why people compare him to Morrison.

Reading JL 1-6 and DK, it feelss like he borrows a lot of Morrison. Not just some of his idea but style of writing. He doesn't just do it as well. And for the record, I'm not saying Snyder is bad. He's okay, definitely better than most writers I can think of

So far I prefer his execution to that of Morrison. So far. He'll have a long run, so the chances of him screwing up is pretty big, in the long run. But Morrison's final arcs weren't so great, either. BTW, I liked his JLA run, overall.
Snyder's best work is still Black Mirror. Still one of the best Batman stories all around.
