Character Ownage

Priest's mini run was one of the worst. I stopped reading.

I pushed through it, but it hurt.

One of my problems with Snyder, and I can't speak for anyone else, is that every time I read something by him, it's like everything needs a gimmick. Whereas Johns took the Lantern Corps and expanded them in a way that makes sense, Snyder's attempt almost comes across as "**** it, I want my own Lantern Corps too!"

You want to write about the multiverse being under attack the way people like Morrison have? Fine, but there comes with it a responsibility to treat the multiverse with the kind of scope it deserves.

And then there's what I said earlier about payoffs (which some other people said too).

I'm not saying you have to agree, I'm just explaining why to some people, Snyder might turn them off, and why Justice League has been disappointing to them so far.

Maybe we're not talking about the same thing, but Snyder is expanding on the DC cosmos and in an interesting way. So far his JL run is getting good reviews by critics and readers alike, so I've never heard many complaints about his run, which has only been 6 issues thus far.

Luthor is finally menacing, Legion of Doom has great chemistry so far, the art has been kinetic and fluid, and Snyder has been using old and new DC mythologies/ideas in Metal and now JL. You couldn't ask for more, IMO.

I just hope he can stick the landing because most of the long runs I have read fall apart around the middle/end.

Holy, stop trying to polish a turd so much Prepman. The comic is shit, it’s okay to admit that.

Rage. You need to remember it's his job.

Dude, This would greatly help anyone browsing the site by mobile. Do you really read the pictures you put? Suspect that you put the images by appearance .. "Oh I'm Galan007, I have a lot of knowledge and I read all these comics". Give us a break.

Other members can post the scans. They hesitate why you publish them first.

😂

Definitely someone's bitter sock. 👆

But seriously, put me on ignore. Sounds like the descriptionless pictures I post really aggravate your mobile browsing experience. Put me on ignore and you don't have to be infuriated by that any longer. 👆

Better yet, he could stop bitching and start posting instead.

Us? There's no "us".

You're not a member of this community. Eleven posts in 2+ years, really?

An imperfect clone of that cousin, maybe.

Snyder makes the nineties look good

Nah, it's been good. I'll admit that. 😛

It's just evident in the way Snyder writes large-scale/cosmic events that he doesn't have a grasp on the cosmology he is working with, and just wings it from issue to issue. Sharp contrast to a guy like Morrison, who has a clear, cohesive vision of the story he is going to tell from start to finish.

Snyder has confirmed that this year and 2019 will deal with Prime and Yuga Khan, both which have been released from the Source Wall.

He hasn't confirmed if they'll be handled in Justice League or not.

Then it’s confirm, that Prime’s gonna lose to Batman then.

Is there a link about Prime?

Yuga Khan is definitely returning:

As for Prime: Snyder's response when asked if we might also see Prime return was "You very well might..." Don't know if he has released any other official statements, though.

He did. I put the timestamp to the question:

I'm talking about Snyder's run on JL so far. I thought you were too.

Writing anything that grand in scope has to be planned out meticulously or it just ends up falling flat.
