The book had infinite pages. Each page has finite weight. Any finite weight x infinity = infinite weight.

Although Captain Marvel was helping him.

Really I wouldn't believe Superman's strength is literally infinite, but I believe that his physical strength sometimes depends on the plot.

as mike said, infinite pages = infinity.

There is no half of infinity. Writers clearly didn't think it through. Doesn't make any sense.

And thats just completely stupid. Galactus cant even lift that much. You all read too much into stuff.

That would make superman and captain marvel the strongest beings in comics.

i know, but it wasn't like the book was divided up between them. they were both lifting a book that contained infinite pages. while we cant quantify what half of infinity is, the feat still stands.

it's stated on panel. you asked for a strength feat, and you were given one. sure it's a high showing, but it's still a showing.

OMG, I cant believe you are saying this Pr.... I know you can find a feat better than that.

Just pointing out that if you want to downplay by using low-end feats, we can counter with absurdly high-end feats.

If you want something more reasonable we have him moving the wheels of Mageddon which are at the very least bigger than the earth.

What does bringing up who people fight have to do with it? Lets not even bring up the people that wolverine, slade, and deathstroke along with captain marvel has fought, staggered, and owned.

you wanted strength feats. i named some. to beat those people takes impressive strength as well as skill and speed, which superman did show.

I honestly think superman is one of the strongest, if not the strongest being on the planet but thats not what I'm arguing about. 😕

I want lifting feats instead of him picking up a book with infinite pages 😕 or him being tied to an engine in chains pulling and tugging (mag feat).

the maggedon feat still counts as far as i'm concerned. then there's the earth moving feat with hal. then a while back, he was punching the moon and j'onn told him to stop before he knocked it out of orbit. there was the time he lifted a mini solar system and carried it out of the atmosphere.
