Yeah, it's a known regular Marvel artist... he did covers for Rucka's Punisher War zone mini-series, too, among other stuff... I'm just too lazy to check his name, lol.

As for Whiplash II... he was an awful by-product of Iron Man 2 movie (and let's be honest, the movie could've been thousands of times better, especially with Jon Favreau in charge of everything).
I have no idea how that character still exists. The original mini maybe wasn't such a bad read (props for having guts to call Putin a great murderer and a monster, wow), but... the character has very loose ties to MCU and doesn't belong anywhere. They can't even get his name right, half of the time...
Bring back the original Whiplash or some of the experienced Crimson Dynamos. Or at least give him a Crimson Dynamo armor (at this point, it's had dozens of different pilots, one more won't make a difference), so he can mimick MCU Mickey Rourke more effectively.
Or make a new character.
Doc Ock and Omega Red are the most popular tentacled characters, anyway.
Hell, even Constrictor is more popular than Whiplash II.

Even calling him Whiplash II (common fan name) isn't exactly right, as there were several others. What a mess.
