Anyway I tried to find some clue in the game manual or the cinematics and conversation ingame to confirm what gender he/she is, but couldn`t find any. There is a lot of talk about Leo`s family, but words like son/daughter/he/she are always avoided.

Well yeah, but that only works if you know the character and his name, there's no way in hell one could tell just by looking at the picture that its meant to be a guy.
