No. Palpatine's Sith priests resurrected/recreated Maul. It wasn't clear to me, but I don't think that was the real deal. And neither did Vader - "Maul" kind of admitted he was right at one point.

it's been suggested that he is, but the most confirmation we've had has been taking about opress' brother and a cloudy vision.

for me it was as good as confirmation, but i can see them weaseling their way out of it.

They never should have killed him so soon.

I like Maul but I always assumed he was on a far lower level of skill than Vader anyway? I mean Obi Wan beat him alone.

Although he does have a cooler look and flashier style than Vader.

In comics, after ROTS Maul with bionic legs arrives on Tatooine and gets killed by Kenobi.

Basically yeah. For a while post ROTS, Vader was portrayed as being basically Anakin in a suit in some media. It was only around the OT that we see him at the level Luke fights him at.

tbh, some are pretty darn good.

there was a series set during the Clone Wars called Obsession, it was a mini with Obi-Wan hunting Ventress. It was awesome imo.
