Huh? I guess you didn't read Thor own words.

I did. But Thor seems be under the premise that Ego is just as durable as a planet. Thor is not omnisciense or even close to all knowing. Now if Reed were to say a statement like that after showing calculations etc etc it would be more relevant.

Gladiator has ripped apart small planet and did powerful strikes and even he couldn't.

Even when Galactus fough Ego before Thor helped. Even Big G had trouble decimating him apart. Showing a distinction that bares relevance.

Low to Mid Herald max? Bull. Disagreed.

Thor's owned Ego about twice, and was taking it to Ego Prime true, but I just don't think Rodi knows how to handle Thor on a big scale. It's why his been stuck with the sword and sorcery type Thor before this. At least based on what I've read. He said breathing in space was out there for him so that gives you a bit of perspective. But I knew this going in; wasn't expecting any planet smashing from him, his no Oeming. I wanted a good story is all. Pretty sure it's cannon.

Oh yea, it isn't a good showing by any stretch, especially since Choi portrayed scale so poorly. It looked like he was buried under a few tons of rock while I think Rodi meant for it to be a much larger mass.

I think it was more than a few tons because I think Ego was adding more pressure to the rocks he threw on Thor... that's why Thor said what he said.

I still consider him High Herald though... just because these characters aren't planetary doesn't lower their scale in my opinion. That showing was about as bad as Superman needing to gain mass to destroy a moon and koing himself rambing it at light speed.

Ego is definitely more durable than a normal planet. Whether Thor was referring to an Ego like planet or to planets in general is unknown. An important distinction though. I don't think Mjolnir should be able to atomize an insane Ego without going for those higher end showings.

It was obviously more than a few tons based on Thor's inner monologue but Choi just portrayed it poorly imo.

So according to your crystal ball, when is Thor going to get beat up?

Breaking planets is one thing, but atomizing? When has Thor ever done that?

Or perhaps I am trying to give too much benefit of the doubt to Thor through the literal wording?

Would you like for me to find out for you Rage?

Sure.

And who is it? The suspense is killing me. Is he big green and mean? Or does he have a bad hair cut and the complexion of a grape?

It's obvious that its Bulk who is going to be putting a beat down on the Odinson soon. : (

Fraction wouldn't take such liberty with his well being. After the shit fest Thor fans have been forced to go through for the last few months, every comic penned by him better end up with Thor winning against a rival. If not, I'm buying a plane ticket.

I'm not telling you that Rage. Just be patient. I will ask him when its coming out but I'm not telling you who it is. You'll enjoy the comic, its a good fight.

😆 😆

That's a legitimate threat. I have a jar labeled "plane ticket" and I'm tossing in any cash I have on me every time I read something Thor related by Fraction that pisses me off. As you would imagine, it's already pretty full.

Are you talking about Surfer? If Thor admits to being inferior to that cosmic pussy, I might just lose all faith in Marvel.
it only makes sense once you think about it though
