That issue was totally awesome, the best part is when Doc said "I always called it a device" Stark: No Bomb, you said bomb!
Ock: Who cares I lied.

that completely cracked me up.

For some strange reason... I just get happy when I see guy post in this thread.

Good scans guy.

Yeah, the disparity in art quality in comics today is just astounding. Stuff like this, or the Annihilators is just astonishingly bad -- there is literally fan art that is better.

Frankly, nothing with art this bad should be cannon.

there is a looooooot of fan art out there that is just as godd as the industry's best. It's just hard to break into the business.

Frankly, I suspect nepotism is involved with some of the artists they do hire.

fans have a bit of an advantage in that department, though...

artists Im sure don't get to pick the book they work on, are under deadline, don't pick the context or topic of their work, and have to do it for a job...

All true. (Although I think there are few businesses where nepotism doesn't get you more than an interview -- academe, for instance).

Still, doesn't make the work by some of these guys any more bearable.

ha, no, it really doesn't. I'm just trying to have sympathy, as a terrible artist myself 😉
