I'd probably erase Fall Out Boy. I don't even hate them that much, I just can't stand 90% of their fans.

We dont need your whiny 'my life sucks and Im gonna force you to listen to how bad it was while making you feel like you can relate' songs.
And quite a few of the bands listed in the first post have influenced current music. Erasing them would erase half of todays music. Its like, why dont we pretend the wars never existed? Because it taught us various things in life we cant and shouldnt forget.

If you take some Britney Spears/Christina Aguilera/Jessica Simpson/Blonde of the month, they dont write their music, they dont perform their music (stupid idiots mime), they dont live their music. They are only marketing bimbos.
Bands have talent. They dont suck. When you listen to a song, what are you listening for? If I take...*checks playlist*..System of a Down - Hypnotize, what am I listening for? Im listening to each instrument, how it's used, how they interact with the other instruments, the vocals, how the vocals interact with the instruments, the actual lyrics themselves and it all works well, hence they dont suck.
Well in her defense, Christina Aguilera does have a really good singing voice. Put the music she produces out of your mind, whether you love or hate it, and just concentrate on her ACTUAL vocal technique and she is good. She has a natural ability where as Jessica Simpson has a voice any girl could achieve with enough practice and Britney Spears is just mega-shit.
