So Colossus really won that fight. He literally is unstoppable. He will take any amount of punishment and heal. Kuurth was hitting him with everything he had. He just kept on coming. That's a Thor level character being manhandled and pushed back at 600mph. Kuurth couldn't stop him even if every step back was one step closer to his destruction. Colossus was totally fine after the fight. no broken bones at all
That was a pretty hard core blast.
I've never seem Classic Colossus get damaged like that. He got blasted from one part of town to the other. If you look at Emma she didn't even get hit directly but it still took off her arm in diamond form. But i guess a celestial blast should be hardcore..lol
Why not show the part where Colossus obliterates the mini Celestial?
Now that is an intimidating sight, two uber powerful siblings cutting lose. The raw power these two posses is staggering. The Avatar of Cyttorak and the Demon Queen and Sorcerer Supreme of Limbo...
The two magical black knights of the x-men. Is there any magik respect thread? She is an insanely powerful individual herself.

Anyone can post statements and claim they are true. Having a reputable source is a great backup to those claims. I want what you posted to be true, but I'm not going to state that until I see an actual source.
I would back up that statement anyways if it weren't for the stupid thought process Colossus was going through in that fight. The art had him better practically every category. I'd really like that claim about Colossus underrating himself in that story to also be true. But I've yet to see proof the writer had said/wrote that either.

Hello, here's my take on the controversy.
Let’s compare this fight to a real life event. In Ali-Frazier three, those two iconic heavy weights battled it out for 14 rounds. Ali found out he was in trouble during the fight because Frazer would not go away. Ali had told Frazier during the course of the fight, “Joe, they told me you were washed up”. Frazier’s response, “They lied to you pretty boy”. Frazier fought valiantly in the middle rounds, but began to fade after the 10th. At the end of the 14th round, Frazier’s trainer told him he wasn’t going out for the 15th. Of course Frazier balked at this. He was a warrior and would have preferred to go out on his shield. But instead of letting his fighter take any more punishment, or worse, he told his fighter it was over. Ali wins. Ali would later say it was the closest to death he had ever been. What Ali felt or thought during and after the fight was irrelevant. History records Ali won the fight because Frazier’s corner threw in the towel.
Colossus aka Juggernaut vs Kuurth ended in the same fashion. As for a quote from the author, it already exists. He says it by way of Majik when she says “The serpent summons his servant home rather than risk his loss. We have won”. The author makes his point very clear at the end of the battle.
Yes that's nice and all, but Frazier nor Ali had magical runes building critical mass as their fight went on. I'm assuming big c's quote is impling Colossus was winning before the runes were in play (which I would agree with going by the art alone). Besides that Colossus won with the help of the immenant explosion.
