What I dont understand is how people only say writers are writing wrong? How can a writer write wrong? People only say it when a argument isn't going there way, and If I said that it was bad writing when Juggernaut beat Colossus down, or I said it was bad writing when ultimate Colossus got taken out by a nuke I would be a stupid fanboy.

Take green lantern or flash, written at full capacity there isnt pratically any challenge they cant get out of., but that would be boring. If you run at the speed of light or can think of anything and make it reality, there is no way that deathstroke can put a spear in your gut. I guess people are going with colossus and his recent showings. the more highend feats he performs, the more people will think its consistent with the character. I think ultimate colossus really did alot for 616 colossus as well....his image has gotten a major upgrade in the badass department. If he beats juggs more then twice, with a good explanation..then i guess fans have no choice but to accept it. anything can happen in comic books

what have i been saying this whole ****in' thread? i respect the balls off colossus, despite being a bastard for truth in representation. as such, i CAN tell a comic writer he's wrong in alleging sinister could be choked to death. sinister can't even be liquified to death, thus, he can't be choked to death. you think he had a working respiratory system when he was a puddle? you think he needed a deep breath to bring himself back from being a stain on the floor to being mister effin' sinister? he doesn't need to breathe to live, which is evident throughout his myriad appearances, and thus he cannot be choked to death. whoever says otherwise is simply WRONG.
In this case Ultimate Colossus should never get tired, because his whole body not just his outsides sre made of steel. Theres nothing in his body that requres oxygen thus he should never get tired, but even though comic book writers know this I think, they still wrote that Ultimate Colossus got tired when he lifted the sub, which in fact is impossible, because metal cant get tired. If I brought this up though I would be a fanboy
bend a paperclip. the paperclip will bend and show no apparent signs of weakness. continue to bend the paperclip back and forth at the same point, and it will eventually snap. colossus either has a naturally occuring fatigue effect to his muscles, or they can weaken as would normal metal to the point where it could be dangerous to continue manipulating them.
616 colossus' entire body is metal too, to clarify. and they don't need to explicitly clarify colossus' powers for us to have an understanding of them. we didn't need them to explain why ultimate sunspot turned black when his powers were active, just as we didn't need them to explicitly state that wolverine's claws were covered with adamantium. there are certain things that are understood, and whether the metal ultimate colossus is made of is somehow different than what 616 colossus is immaterial to the fact that it's organic metal. of course, this is using the comic definition of "organic," in that it's alive.
Thankyou thats what ive been trying to ask the whole time. Saying that Ultimate Colossus body is covered in "Organic Steel" explains nothing. Where does it rank among those metals listed above? Just to let you know Ultimate Colossus armor has yet to be damaged, even adamantium couldn't pierce colossus armor.

Powers
By no means is Ultimate Colossus the equivalent to his 616 counterpart for he has shown to be far stronger. Piotr has the ability to transform his body from flesh and blood into organic steel, giving him superhuman strength and making him impervious to harm. Supposedly his power has not yet fully developed because of his youth. Some say that this armor in the Ultimate Universe is stronger than even adamantium, but this has not yet been proven.
In this transformed state, Colossus' body gains around a inch in additional height and his body mass is doubled. The source of Colossus' gain in height and muscle mass is unknown, but possibly extradimensional.
Ultimate Colossus possesses vast superhuman strength, the limits of which have not been revealed. Ultimate Colossus strength was sufficient enouph for him to battle powerhouses such as Ultimate Thor, Ultimate Ironman, and Ultimate Magneto placing his strength well into the Class 100 level, being able to lift in excess of 100 tons with ease. This makes him one of the most physically powerful beings, if not the most powerful of all, in the Ultimate Universe.
Aside from his incredible strength, Ultimate Colossus' steel skin possesses an amazing degree of invulnerability to injury, allowing him to battle with some of the strongest characters of the Ultimate Universe. Ultimate Colossus armor is so great it can withstand a blast from a nuke, falls from great heights, exposure to temperatures less than that of Pluto to temperatures greater than that of the Sun, exposure to vacuum environments, direct contact with molting lava, strikes from Wolverines adamantium claws, etc without sustaining the slighest injury. Being conductive, he is immune to electricity. Colossus's armored body also cannot rust. A side effect of his armor's strength enhancing effect is a vastly greater muscle efficiency than an ordinary human. While armored, his muscles generate considerably less lactic acids than those of ordinary humans, granting him superhuman levels of stamina in all activities. He can exert himself at peak capacity for several days before fatigue begins to impair him. Colossus has demonstrated no need to breathe or eat while he is in his armored state and there's no known limit as to how long he can remain in this form.
In the Ultimate continuity, it has been shown that Colossus's eyes do not turn into steel, but instead remain organic and vulnerable (in the normal continuity, Colossus's eyes have been able to withstand a gunshot). Also, unlike the "normal" Colossus, when he is knocked unconscious he remains in whatever form he was in (see the "Hellfire and Brimstone" plotline). Also, this version of Colossus is immune to Cyclops optic blasts. This proves useful when they are fighting the Russian Mafia in a search for Mr.Sinister.
Although Colossus has been knocked out he has yet to be physically damaged or harmed in the Ultimate Universe.
Adamantium is a virtually indestructible man-made steel alloy which does not occur in nature and whose exact chemical composition is a United States government classified secret. Adamantium is not an element: its properties do not qualify it for any know space on the Periodic Table of Elements. Rather, Adamantium is a series of closely related compounds of iron created through a secret process discovered by the American metallurgist Dr. Myron MacLain.
MacLain began experimenting with the process that created Adamantium as a young scientist in the employ of the United States government in the early 1940s. Assigned to create a super-metal with which to build tanks, MacLain labored for month, experimenting with various iron alloys. One of his experiments utilized the rare meteoric ore now known as Wakandan Vibranium. He tried to fuse the Vibranium to the iron alloy numerous times without success. Then one night when he dozed off, some as yet unknown factor entered the process, and permitted the fusion to occur. Upon discovering his success, MacLain poured the molten metal into a disc-shaped mold. The disc, once solidified, has proven to be the most impervious object ever created on Earth. MacLain turned the discover to the government and it was given to Captain America to use as his shield. Neither MacLain nor anyone else has ever been able to discover what was the x-factor that entered the process, or has been able to fuse Vibranium with another metal. (The unknown iron-Vibranium alloy of which the shield is composed resembles True Adamantium, although Adamantium itself contains no Vibranium,)
Over the following decades MacLain experimented, attempting to duplicate the process that create the shield. Finally, in recent years, he succeeded in developing the process by which the substance known as True Adamantium is created. True Adamantium is nearly as strong as Captain America's shield, and is, for all practical purpose, indestructible. The degree of impermeability varies directly with the thickness of the Adamantium. A direct blow from Thor's hammer, conveyed with the thunder god's full strength, will slightly dent a solid cylinder of True Adamantium. A sufficient mass of Adamantium could survive a direct hit from a nuclear weapon.
Adamantium is created through the mixing of certain chemical resins whose composition is a United States government secret. For eight minutes after the resins are mixed, the Adamantium can be molded into a particular shape as long as it is kept at a temperature of 1,500 degrees Fahrenheit. After this brief period the process of creating Adamantium is completed. The extremely stable molecular structure of the Adamantium prevents it from being molded further, even if the temperature remains high enough to keep it in liquefied form. Only a device celled a Molecular Rearranger can alter the form of hardened Adamantium.
The United States government has shared the secret of Adamantium's composition with certain of its allies, and the secret has also fallen into the hands of various criminals, such as the Constrictor, who has made special weaponry from Adamantium. Wolverine possesses artificial claws made of True Adamantium and his bones have been fused with Adamantium in an unexplained manner so as to greatly increase their tensile strength. The outer portion of the robotic body of Ultron is also composed entirely of True Adamantium, although Ultron's inner mechanisms are not.
Adamantium is extraordinarily expensive to produce. Therefore, certain parties who wish to use Adamantium on a large scale have resorted to utilizing a similar but somewhat weaker compound similar to True Adamantium called Secondary Adamantium. Although Secondary Adamantium is still far stronger than even titanium steel, it can be destroyed by sufficiently great amounts of force. Blastaar's energy discharges and the vibratory force created by the Overkill Horn have both proved able to destroy Secondary Adamantium. The sentient computer known as F.A.U.S.T. had a casing made of Secondary Adamantium which Thor and Iron Man managed to destroy. The Red Skull and the original Hate-Monger had a dome of Secondary Adamantium constructed to protect their island fortress but the dome was destroyed by the vibratory force of the Overkill Horn and by powerful incendiary bombs.
First Appearance: AVENGERS #66.
What sounds stronger to you?
In Uncanny #468 Colossus knocked out Shi'ar Death Commando Flaw with a right cross to the jaw. He just happened to be a WarSkrull who though he was unbeatable.
Sega was protecting the Commando's with a shield but when the X-men broke it the fight was on.

I guess years of doing the fastball special with Wolverine has paid off for Colossus.
Mikhail was standing on top of a rock thinking he was out of Colossus' reach. So Colossus chucks a small rock at him and hits him in the noggin.
