incorrectly, that last scan says that peter's powers only transform his skin, which is simply not true.

In #126 he does the same yet again...

Not sure of the issue number, but here's Colossus using his body as a lightning rod to take down magneto's acolytes...

Good job. I am glad to see somebody else helping out. Two of the four scans were posted but I liked the first one with Colossus walking right through Havoks blasts.

You are right. But I wouldn't worry too much about that.

Ultimate X-men #48 A Russian mobster had a gun to Cyclops' head and was gonna cap his @ss but Cyclops fires his optic blast at Colossus’ but his steel form deflects it and it hits Boris in the head.

Amazing, Colossus marvel and asks how Cyclops knew that the blast would ricochet. He did know that, didn’t he? Cyclops just tells him to come.

Gotta give Cyclops some credit for calculating the shot but I don't think he knew it would work.

Uncanny #200 Colossus and Rogue use their body to shield the rest of the X-men from harms way.

Uncanny #201 during a friendly baseball game Colossus hit the ball so hard they thought it was gonna go into orbit! The scan also shows how fast he can tansform his body in organic steel. When he started his swing he was till human but when he finished his swing he was Colossus.

Uncanny #200 while standing in flames and trying to put out a hospital that is on fire Colossus is attacked with a pressor beam and is knocked into a truck. He got right back up afterwords.

(As usual only his costume suffered)

I don't think this was posted yet. It's Colossus' bio from the House of M handbook. I don't know if it's cannon or not but it says he can lift only 85 tons.

I don't get it? 85tons? How come it says in the other bio you posted that he is can lift over 100tons? then it says in th ultimate bio thousands on tons? is the house of m colossus, a different one? younger? why is there so much inconsistencies with how many tons he can lift?

I don't know why it's like that. I think HOM is a younger Colossus cause that's how Scarlet Witch remembers Colossus as being only able to lift 85 tons.

Here is part of his bio from the 2003 Ultimate Guide to the X-men. It says over 100 tons.

85 tons is piotr's classic weight. wanda didn't change anything about anyone, except for resurrecting certain dead people and granting a few wishes. she didn't de-age piotr in the HoM. the handbook writers just don't care enough about consistency to match up their facts.

I don't know about that: Wanda depowered Captain Marvel, Captain Britian and didn't Sabertooth not have his adamintium?

this makes sense....they should make an effort to look up on the characters recent power leves. Whats the point of buyin a new handbook if the info you get is dated...

wanda screwed with the "history" of how things occurred. in the warped timeline, genis likely hadn't gone through all the rigors he had in the 616. he still utilized some powers, such as flight and ****ing flashback's day up, but likely hadn't developed them as he would've in our timeline. brian probably had all the access he needed to the omniverse and it's energies, he just didn't have a "history" of using them.

piotr's powers are purely physical, and grew as his body naturally evolved. there's no reason, lack of training or otherwise, he shouldn't have had his current power level.

That's kinda true. Colossus' powers may come from a extra-dimensional source. It's unknown actually.

Anyways when Colossus first joined the X-men he was stated at 70 tons. Then the whole Riptide/Magneto ordeal happened then his strength and body mass was boosted and maybe he was 85 tons during that time. Then he matured into a adult and became even stronger yet to put him around the 100 ton level.

Altering their history alters their powers, that's what I thought you were saying.

I hate Handbooks

i agree, handbooks suck dicks.

i don't really think wanda changed anybody's powers, per se, but only their understanding of how they could use their powers. i highly doubt CB or genis were as depowered as they seemed, they just lacked the memory of any experience they'd had using said powers. but then we could revert to the very concept of power itself, yadda yadda. it's a big waste of time.

piotr's powers don't come from an extradimensional source, though the extra mass he takes on could get excused as such. it's the marvel way. he's always used an internally generated surge of bio-energy to change from man to machine. i always just assumed the energy was altered/boosted somehow post-siege perilous and his mass just bulked up as he changed.

if peter increased his mass, he should weigh more than 500 pounds. Actually, a person who is 7'5'' and is made of pure metal is bound to weigh more than 500 pounds. Unless organic steel is extremely light weight.
