I should have some new scans monday or tuesday. One of them showing Colossus breaking vibranium bands? Hmm...sounds interesting.

Uncanny #116 Colossus is shackled to a column with viranium bands that is on top of a magma pit. Magma is basically moten rock.

Garokk asks how much longer his armored form can withstand the awesome heat from the magma pit. Piotr knows he is right. His body is already glowing red-hot. He cannot feel pain yet but it will come. He wonders whether he will melt. Glowing red-hot he didn't even feel the pain.

Then Cyclops shows up and blasts the magma pit and once Colossus is free from the pit it looks like Colossus breaks the vibranium bands and kicks some @ss.

It certainly seems like he did, cyclops aimed for the base of the pillar. Seems odd that the pillar could hold colossus down though. It was looked like it was just made of rock. If he can shatter vibranium handcuffs, that pillar should have been crushed with just his shrug...impressive feat...is vibranium just below adamantium in durabilty?

vibranium can take a licking and keep on kicking, but that's primarily from impact. with pressure such as colossus straining on it would do, seems more like busting steel rather than modern-day vibranium. vibranium's durable as hell, but it's certainly more malleable than adamantium.

i haven't gone through the whole thread, but does anybody have scans from the bloodlines mini? are there even feats in the bloodlines mini?

Uncanny #111 while under the control of Mesmero Colossus hits Beast so hard in the back of the head he thinks he got hit in the head by a Uru hammer! Then he replies "If that was a fist that hit me I don't think I want to see the body it is attatched to".

Sure it was a cheap shot but still kinda cool.

Uncanny # 147 while Storm subconciously unlocked her true power she was battling the X-men Colossus arrived to merely remove everyone from harm’s way, by removing the floor with them. He smashed the granite floor causing them to fall.

Then he proceeds to try and talk to Storm taking some of her lightning in the process. He could handle the onslaught but Storm put some force into it and knocked him down. It didn't hurt him however cause he was up on the next page trying to talk sense into her.
