It's ANOTHER universe, my friend. A DIFFERENT ONE. One that is SIMILAR, but still DIFFERENT.
Colossus has all the same powers and such. However, they change his personality a bit. Not even that drastic of a change, if you ask me. Sure, he's gay now. But besides his preference for men, can you honestly say his personality differs much from his 616 character? If you think so, I'd love to hear why.

THIS is what worries me...
ultimate colossus is gay, and so far, ultimate x-men has been reasonably successful... how long is it going to be before some jackass up at marvel decides that 616 colossus should be gay too? that he was just confused all these years, or is bi curious or some shit... marvel is as commercial as they could possibly be, how long before they go 'hey, lets get even more readers in the gay community, lets make colossus gay'

beautiful. one of my favorite characters and deserves respect.
A few pages back we were discussing how much Colossus weighs. The handbooks say he is 500lbs. and he's been mentioned in a comic weighing a ton. In Phoenix Warsong #2 while the X-men were in the X-jet Cyclops told Colossus to loose some weight cause his armored form was slowing down the plane. According to the handbooks that would only cut 250lbs. of total weight. I don't know but I would think Colossus is indeed over 500lbs in his armored form.

Colossus vs. S'ym-III.
Colossus was punching S'ym through buildings and was getting the better of him so his demon cronies jumped in to help S'ym. The fight went unfinished cause S'ym was teleported away but he was definately loosing.
