Ultimate Colossus, and Colossus Respect Thread

Here is a bio from the Special Edition Hanbook #8. It says Colossus is class 100! He don't have the incalcuable strength but he's a notch below.

Here is part of his entry in the 2006 X-men Encyclopedia. It also states he can lift over 100 tons:

Lifting weights dosent make you that class 😐

If that was the case, then Thing would be considered Class 140 or so

Well, i believe Thing IS class 100, you can't rely on stupid bios.

True 😬

However, I think of Ben as being between Class 90-95

Too many guys are in Class 100

Actually, I've always considered Ben to be Class 100 as well along with Colossus. I think they're in the same strength tier, with Colossus being stronger. But not by a huge factor.

I guess 😬

I consider both Ben and Pitor to be in Class 95.

Their strength is so even its not even possible to tell which one is stronger

Eh, that's your opinion. I really don't understand why you're fighting my statement though. I'm saying I think Ben is strong enough to be in class 100, yet you deny it and don't want him to be.

Colossus's feats alone should prove to you that he's class 100 and clearly (though again, not by a huge factor) stronger than Thing.

Thing is class 90. He has no official bio stating he's class 100 anywhere. That's where Marvel puts him. Colossus is slightly above that even if it isn't that much.

I think, if you go by feats alone, which seems to be the fairest way, as Thing has multiple sources with varying strength ratings, then Colossus takes it. Not by a mile, but he still outclasses Thing. No disrespect to Ben, though.

Every time I come in here I find out that Colossus and Ultimate Colossus are even stronger/more badass than I had previously thought. 😎

It's hard to go by feats sometimes though. Class 50 characters lift things over 100 tons all the time. But that does not make them class 100.

Actually alot of people misunderstand the Marvel strength system. Class 100 is not the top tier. There is a level above that and that's called incalcuable strength. Guys like Hulk, Thor, Gladiator, Immortal Hercules etc. have that level. Guys like Namor(In water), Wonderman, Colossus etc, are considered class 100. Class 90 level is guys like Iron Man, Thing, Rhino, Sasquatch etc. All officially ofcourse.

Actually offically Sasquatch is just class 70, and from actual feats he is definetly class 100 and has the ability to increase his strength to skyfather level.

And I could argue that Ben is slightly stronger 😐

I dont think either of these guys are Class 100, because Class 100 is way to overpopulated is starting to lose its clause

Which is why nobody gives a s**t about bios 😐

I take handbook bios as a template, as they are always up for interpretation and don't merely rely them as concrete facts. Feats in actual comics definetly outweigh the handbooks.

hey, Sasquatch is just class 70. Even Box admited he isn't half the strength as Sasquatch and he officially can lift press 85 tons. Oh well.

"I once occupied the Box armor, too! Heather! I know its strengths! Its might's not half that of Sasquatch's, but Box's power lies more than the armor's strength."

Class 100 isn't the top tier as I said. Inalcuable is. Read my above post. It's still a honor to be in incalcuable level.

Yep, one member of Alpha Flight had incaluable strength offically...any guesses?...Marrina 😎

Anyways as I said handbooks are still really only good for a basic guideline

Sasquatch is easily Class 100 😐

You would think so, but he's still offically class 70 *shrugs*
