Spawn Official Feats, Features and Respect Thread

Issue #26:

This issue and the following one deal with Marc Simmons, Al?s brother. He?s an FBI profiler. And a very good one at that. He?s called to NY to help with a murderer called the crocodile killer. The main suspect is Roger Bonner that has just been released from a criminal asylum. But he?s not the killer. A guy called Travis Quinn is. Sam and Twitch are hired by a doctor at that asylum to prove that Bonner isn?t the murderer?

The issue starts with Travis capturing and killing a young woman.

Issue #27:

In this issue we find out Marc?s family was killed by a serial killer as a sort of payback. He never found out who the killer was.
A new character enters the fray. His name is Damon Edward Foster. He?s also a profiler. The best there ever was actually. He?s also in love with Suture (you remember Suture). He thinks she?s perfect. He decides to give Marc Simmons the name of his family?s killer (yep, he even figured that out) if he gets his help. He knows Suture will kill the crocodile Killer (Travis Quinn) and wants to be there to meet her in person.

Issue #28:

Suture is in emotional anguish. She doesn?t know who she is, why she?s doing what she?s doing, etc. She needs to figure things out before they get out of control?so she seeks the help of a psychiatrist. A very good one. And he just happens to be a serial killer with a fetish for cross-dressing.

Issue #29:

This Issue deals with Judge Jonathan Edward Custer. ?duly appointed magistrate of purgatory?. He was the guy/soul that would judge people in Purgatory to choose where they go. But Heaven decides to decommission Purgatory. No more middle ground.

I thought this issue, which is coincidently also the last of the Curse of the Spawn series, was awesome. It shows how uncaring and cold Heaven is. It shows how things aren?t quite the way you think they are. I loved it.

Spawn - The Dark Ages

Spawn: The Dark Ages was a series that lasted for 28 issues. It tells the tale of an old Spawn, called Lord Iain Covenant.
He lived during the Middle Ages, somewhere around the year 1.000. He was the ruler of a small county called Rhyll, and the people loved him.
He fell in love however with a peasant girl and left her pregnant. That?s when he decided to leave Rhyll and join the fighting in Jerusalem for the Holy Land. He joined the crusade, and killed thousands in the name of God. Eventually, he died. He was sure he?d get to Heaven for his efforts, but he didn?t. It was Malebolgia that recruited him. He turned him into a Hellspawn and unleashed him on Earth five years after his death, back in Rhyll.

This is an awesome series, that can grow a bit stale at times, but that has some great action and some great issues.
I?ll be putting up only a few scans from each issue, since it?s not really directly tied in with our Spawn other than Cogliostro and a few things...

Issue #1:

This issue is under the form of a young man telling a tale to some listeners. The young man in reality is Covenant?s son, the one that Spawn?s bride-to-be died giving birth to.

During the Crusades, Iain Covenant met a man called Dusang. He became his close friend. However, one time, Dusang betrayed Covenant and the crusaders. They were attacked. Covenant died and well?..you know the rest. Covenant seeks revenge?..

Issue #6:

This issue together with the next two tell a beautiful story. DuBlanc is looking for Spawn. He reaches a small town where Spawn?s been seen. That small town contains a small Abbey where a special nun lives. A nun called Immaculata. Who just happens to be an angel, spawn-hunter like Angela. A very powerful one at that. A long time ago she went through some trauma however and she gave herself amnesia??but?you?ll see?
