it's not consistant because it hasn't been done, it hasn't been done because it would end the game franchise... but it is a described ability...
p.s. have we actually literally seen any souls sent to hell by akuma in canon sf games during canon endings?

The guys behind Mortal Kombat have been ripping ideas off for eons.

If this were a battle of originality I would have to give the win to Street Fighter, but since this is a fist fight I'm going to... have to give it to Street fighter. 😆

you must not be very well familiarized the the MK mythology.. cause that had nothing to do with how I want the characters to be but rather how they're represented through the storyline...

you think sf wins.. great...but don'thurt yourself and go to all the trouble of thinking why or anything... 🙄

What I'm saying is that if the characters have to be depowered to be in MK then that would be the versions that SF has to fight. Not the all powerful gods that would smite Gill like he was a sissy.

Therefore level playing field.
And that whole thing about originality was just me venting. It didn't mean anything.

no it wouldn't... this isn't an MK tournement.. the gods that make the decree to mortalize lesser gods and warlords in MK tournies have no sanction over the SF earth. SF earth is not under their protection hence MK guys don't get depowered... again.. shao kahn invaded earth in MKIII he suffered from no depowering and his battle with raiden "shook the earth to it's core"... why? cause it wasn't a tournement it was an invasion..

also you have to consider guys like shinnok and onaga who suffer NO mortalization whatsoever...

as for me being a nice guy.. you come in here and immediately insult my rationale... how SHOULD I respond? should I give you royal treatment? pffft.

Insulting rationale is part of a debate. That doesn't mean you have to be an unmitigated...well. No point in going that direction.

I've always hated this debate. There's the whole god's being involved and I've always said that this was playable characters vs playable characters. That's MK characters in their selectable status not their capacity, which means no destroy the world power levels. As you so delicately put it. If those power levels are permitted then sure MK wins but that's not what we wanted to see. We want to see this like it's a MK tournament, therefore the playing field is level. If you don't want that, fine, that's your bag. I want to see this match level. That brings it down to opinion and in my opinion Street fighter wins. I have my reasons and you are obviously unimpressed by my opinions so...tongue

street fighter still doesn't win.. partially due to characters already mentioned partially due to supernatural powers that they can't handle.. there's only about half a dozen guys on the sf roster that are really intimidating...

Incidentally I've been reviewing pages and I don't actually recall insulting your rationale.

He's used is telekinetic prowress to stop a bullet in motion, so I'm sure he can lift a table. This is in a believable range for Bison however, and I wouldn't dispute it, unless someone said a mountain or something.

Capcom has quite a few guys themself... I'd say maybe around the same... but I may be missing something on either side.
