also what annoys me is when people read the first sentence of your post and just run with it, rather than read the entire post and realise that the initial sentence was an opening statement, followed by the body of text which supports that opening statement, and holds the answers to whatever stupid questions they ask, forcing you to quote a sentence in your own post, which saddly is also contained in their quote of your post. that gets me steamed

Because in any situation I do so, it's relevant. We tend to have similar views, so if I want to say something and he happens to have already said it, I state that he has so that I don't have him coming to me complaining. I've done the same with many posters.

Since some of you said the Comic Book Forum were good debators, I say we (the GDF) challenge them to BitchFest '06 - where we get 5 topics and we debate to the death!
You have teams of 3 and you have the opportunity to gang up on the other team. You could even invite the Johnny Depp forum to act as the merciless tackling dummy when one of the teams is down and needs to get some momentum back.
