I highly doubt that. But, I know I'd love to see Carnage. I know it 100% won't happen but it'd be nice to see him brought to the big screen and be presented as more than a superpowered Joker clone.
If they have Carnage in a Spider-Man flick, then it should probably be rated R. See Carnage at his best.

It doesn't have to be rated R for us to see Carnage at his best. TDK wasn't rated R and it pushed the limit quite a bit.
But i do have to agree, some of the stuff in Dark Knight really pushed the boundaries. Heath Ledger was the best movie representation of Joker i've seen and he was true to the character - shame he died, he could've been an amazing reoccurring character - Jack Nickleson and the guy that played Joker in Adam West's Batman film were shameful, and more laughable then twisted and insane...especially Adam West's Joker lol
Yes, I did, and billions of others did as well. Whether you like the performance or not, he set a standard that was not topped until Heath Ledger stepped on the scene. Whether you love or hate his performance, he had the best comic book villain portrayal until Heath's Joker came on the scene. But, some people don't have any respect for true acting.
yes, your right...
until Heath Ledger stepped up to the challenge i did think Nicholson's portrayal was good-ish (still thought it was extremely eccentric) but there was only the Joker from Adam West's batman to compare with...
and when Ledger took the role so seriously and did everything he could to make it feel as much like the comic as possible, he definitely set the standard. And, like you, I think if Ledger hadn't taken the role, Nicholson still would be what most people thought the Joker was like - even though Nicholson himself resents the role, and never talks about it.
Edit: And if Bale hadn't taken the role of Batman, i'm sure people would still associate the role with Michael Keaton...
Nicholson doesn't resent the role, but I'm sure, like anyone, he wants to hear about different peices of his work and not just one movie all the time. However, I thought Nicholson did a great job of portraying a Joker that was a prankster but still pretty damn dangerous. The only fault I found with his Joker was he was absolutely no match for Batman.
With Ledger's Joker, he actually could whoop someone's ass or crush skulls. He was also extremely dangerous, and he had more dark humor, which is what I love to see.
Btw, a funny fact is that "[i]Batman (1989)[/i}" was the highest grossing Batman movie until TDK came around. It took the appearance of the Joker again for B('89) to finally be surpassed in terms of money. I suspect the same will happen this time around.
Thats awsome, they need to make up for 3, a complete flop compared to the first 2, even with the (horrible) introduction of Venom, and what (little) screen time they gave him.
I would even be for them completely re-doing the 3rd, just like the Hulk was remade to make up for the mistake of the first one.
Anyways, any word on villains and such? It really has been a while since Ive read anything on this. Work has taken over my life. =(
