Shadow sat up, he rubbed the tears away on his sleeve and walked to the door, flinging it open and heading through the building's various corridors to the main street. He looked up at the block of flats he had been left in, the nup and down the deserted street.

Sighing he walked along until he found a clothes store. He walked in and took what he liked off the shelves, throwing his old, bloodied clothes into the bin on the way out. He turned and walked back to the flat, he had been carried unconciously to the flat and was unsure of the way back to his friends.

~I'm introducing my character to you Spike, if that's ok.~

Talia was alone. She found pride in escaping from the mutant camp by herself, but now she had nobody. She had no clue where she was. All she was thinking when she was escaping was to run.

"Run where? Run anywhere that isn't here," she thought.

Someone shot at her.

"Dart," she yelled. The dart came to life in mid air. She turned to look at it, "Why don't you go and show those people what it feels like to have a dart poke them in the neck."

The dart flew back to the people that were shooting at Talia and proceeded to attack them.

"Good dart," she whispered.

After that, she brought the fence that surrounded the camp to life to separate and keep the MP's busy while she made her escape. While they were busy tussling with the gate, she ran off.

The next day she was in a town that seemed so empty. She never had to go through any of this before, but Talia was a survivor.

"Mailbox, go find me some food and bring it back here." The mailbox ran off.

After a long day, she decided it was time to leave. So in the middle of the night, she wrapped up the food the mailbox brought her and left only to bump into a guy that looked just as lost as she was. Talia found it strange that there was someone else in this desolate town.

"Uh, hi. What are you doing here?"

Shadow looked around, "I'm...I'm lost actually. So I thought I would make myself at home here until my friends find me...if they find me."

[Jack was lost for the most part he had got separated from the group and was walking in the forest he pushed two trees out his way with ease.He was coming up to what he thought was a abandon hut he looked around and saw Eli and some others people.Jack decided to get some answers so he walk up to the group.]"where is Justice and what are we suapose to do now?"[Jack had just brust into the conversation the group was haveing but did not care]

"Besides, why would Ryan want you, you are a mutant, he despises this." Jim said after he stopped laughing.
"Alright, I semi-trust you, okay?" Karen looked back to the group. "But you are not to leave Zacks, Elis, or my sight, got it?"
"Got it." Jim walked back to the group and leaned against the huts wall. Karen had moved back to the group too.
"Where did Zack go?"

Shadow moved to sit down on the kerb. He looked up at the girl who had just arrived as if from no-where.

"I'm guessing you're a mutant...so tell me, what's your power. Maybe you can help my friends find me."

"My name is Talia. I have the mutant ability to bring any inanimate object to life. I might be able to help. I'll bring this light post to life. Light post, please listen to this guy. He needs to find his friends."

The light post bent down, listing to Talia.

"Now just tell it what your friends look like and where they were at last, and it'll go find them for you."

Shadow looked up at the light, slightly taken aback by it.

"You can bring...anything to life...? I can imagine you could have some fun with that power," Shadow joked "My friends were at an abandened hut somewhere in the forest last I saw them. There was a small river running by the place too, if that's any help."

Talia was pleased with the guys reaction. After the guyfinished talking, the lamp post went off in the direction the described.

"Well I can't bring anything to life. Only objects that aren't alive. Well minus the dead. So what's your name and powers, if you're mutant. You are a mutant, aren't you?"

"I am..." Shadow paused for a while thinking about the answer, then finished, "Name's Shadow. I can "phase" through solid matter, and I have limited teleportation capabilities. As long as there's a shadow dark enough to cover me and another one in sight I can move between the two."

"Well anyways, I need to rest. Eli, your in charge of Jim." Karen said. She walked in the hut, nothing really inside, so she just layed down on the floor she seemed to be used to that by now. She closed her eyes, hoping she would not have a bad dream.

"Now that sounds fun," Talia said. "How'd you get separated from your friends?"

"It's complicated." Shadow said simply, not going into any more detail. His mind went back to what had happened in the camp with his dad, he shook it off, standing up as he did so.

"Well, I just escaped from one of those mutant camps a few days ago. I did it all by myself, too. I wish I had some friends. If I did, I wouldn't have to hide out in a abandoned town. Before I became a mutant, I had a lot of friends, but you know how kids are in the 9th grade.

Talia tried not to remember what her ex-friends did to her back in school. The moment she told them that she could bring stuff to life they told their parents. She didn't know if they tried to get her sent away, but she didn't care. That was a whole different lifetime ago. She was a new person.

"Listen, can I come with you? I don't like being by myself. And I would like to make some new friends."

Eli kept a close eye on Shadow.

"So, if you don't mind can I ask what's your problem. By the way these people are talking about you, you seem different."

~Eli is talking to Jim, not Shadow, right?~

"Sure, we should probably follow that lamp back, huh?" Shadow said, he tapped the rucksack on his back, "They'll need this food as much as we do. That's why I came out here" He lied.

~Right.~

~just made sure you noticed 😛~

Eli kept a close eye on Shadow.

"So, if you don't mind can I ask what's your problem. By the way these people are talking about you, you seem different."

"Lets just say that I died before..." Jim said.

"Actually, we should stay right where we are. The lamp post doesn't have a mind, so it won't be able to find us if we leave from where we are. So, you came all the way out here to a desolate town just to find food," Talia asked, seeming quite suspicious. "Well that was dumb. Didn't you see that this town was empty. You should've kept going to a more populated area."

"Died before... What do you mean," Eli asked.

"A mutant that was working for them, killed me, or so what we thought..." Jim sighed. "They brought me back to like, called me Ryan." Jim then looked away not wanting to talk anymore.
~I am gonna post the rest of the summary up soon, it contains the part of Jim being Ryan and about Shadow and his father~

"So what. Is it this Ryan guy that's making you act all kinds of crazy," Eli asked, sounding really confused.
