"Wow! Eli, you really got them together," Talia said, ginually surprised. "I didn't think they could pull it off when I first came here, but look what you did. You got them working as a team."
Eli was proud of himself. He remembered when he was younger when he had to watch his little brother and sister. They were always fighting. Sure the whole pausing thing came in handy, but it didn't stop the fighting. So he had to learn how to get into their heads and deal with them that way.
He was glad that it worked the same with older people as well.
Talia asked Eli where they were going.
"I have no idea. I just hope we get there safely. Shadow looks like he's hurt pretty badly."
"He is," Talia said. "When I met up with him in that deserted town, He seemed kinda of lost and he looked really beat up."
Eli was trying to figure out what could've happened to Shadow when he thought he saw someone behind Karen outside.
"What the hell?"
"What," Talia asked.
"Nothing. I thought I saw something outside. Come on, let's get everyone ready to go."
When Karen came in in the form of Jack, Eli and Talia looked at Jack. He was looking just as amazed as them.
"Just keep those chairs alive just in case you need to break up a fight," Eli told Talia.
"Ok, I think...there are some flats over there in that building. I guess the military evacuated the place, last time I was here the place seemed like people had left in a hurry." Shadow looked down at his now muddied clothes, "Guess I'll need some clean clothes again, thanks Jim." He said sarcasticaly.
