Adamantium can theoretically withstand a nuclear explosion without retaining heat.
A Nuclear explosion has no relevance to whether a Lightsaber can go through Adamantium. For all you know, a Lightsaber is hotter than the Sun. I mean... After all, It does cauterize wounds after it goes through the person.
And since the beginning of Episode 1 shows that lightsabers cannot instantly cut through anything without resistance, it has limits, which adamantium does not, and adamantium is superior.
The only thing a Lightsaber can't go through virtually is another Lightsaber. We say Jinn rip a Steel door down by whipping a Lightsaber around it.
Darn expensive though... fortunately a piece of it 1 to the negative 99999999999999999999999th power millimeters thick will never break.
