SilverSpider/Dizzle's Team Tournament:Third Round Drafts

I request to change ULT Captain America for Cyber
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyber_(comics)

I'll replace Firestar with Titanium Man

http://underworld.fortunecity.com/blood/201/marvel/titaniumman.html

bad link

I'm exchanging MM for SpeedFreek. 😈 The REAL Speedfreek.
http://www.leaderslair.com/marvelvillains/speedfreek.html

wouldnt adamantium suits of any kind be over durability? Cyber and Speedfreek are almost all covered in that, and in the Marvel Universe it cant be destroyed it takes someone of Hulks caliber to even dent it, right?

So, we're allowing an army of Wendigos then?

no, that's basically power amping beyond Thing levels

don't know if this has been covered yet... i'm still catching up

Starlight has the same powers as Presence, Presence beat all of the Avengers at the same time (except Thor) and has put up good showings against Quasar and other powerful beings

Are people allowed to change their picks after a round of drafting is over?

But they do share strength, sicne they are the same being just in many bodies.

Lok, if you take 1000 Jamies, and say he presses about 200 pounds, thats 200,000 pounds. That would put him right at 100 tons, which is within the limits. Same character, but the Multiple Man slot on the team gets its powers increased by having more mass, more limbs, more pairs of eyes to do the work. Jamie still only takes up one character slot, and he shares the same physical sensations. Not only is Wendigo outside the limits, Wendigo-Jamie is Far far above the limits.

ditto - Multiple-Wendigo-Man 👇

My team:

Agent Zero - Karnak - Blitzkrieg - Deathlok

i remember you saying power stacking that takes you over the pre-set limits was banned

Hell, Iron Man should probably be able to take him, provided he doesn't get retarded and go h2h.

"Retard-Repulsars to 0.3%"

*fzzzzz*

"DAMN.... it's having no effect!!!"

...... 😖hifty:.......MW - 👇

Bios tend to have specific things like strength and other abilities spelld out. One issue really isn't enough to judge. I have an issue in which Spidey beats Firelord. Does that mean I can choose Firelord for this tourney?

i already tried that approach.... didn't work .... 😛

Which was it? I can't remember.

that only lasted over the Cyberwar story .... or virtual something..... she doesn't have those powers as standard

Yayor nay to my cyber usage

I'm actually pretty sure he is stronger than Thing...

Radioactive Man's strength and stats are OK.
I don't think his blasting ability exceeds Iron Man.

Intelligence: Gifted (6/10)
Strength: Enhanced Human (5/12)
Speed: Normal (2/10)
Stamina: Peak Human (4/10)
Durability: Peak Human (4/14)
Agility: Normal (2/7)
Reflexes: Normal (2/7)
Fighting Skills: Average hand-to-hand combatant
Special Skills/Abilities: Brilliant nuclear physicist; expert on effects of radiation on the human body, including mutation
Superhuman physical powers: Aside from the above listed attributes, the Radioactive Man has the ability to absorb nuclear radiation without harm; ability to manipulate and project radioactive particles for various effects, including radiation emission as heat (sufficient to incinerate a city block), "hard" radiation (inflicting opponents with nausea, dizziness, and radiation poisoning), blinding hypnotic light, or beams of radioactive energy, strength enhancement, and erection of force fields strong enough to repel Thor's hammer.
Superhuman Mental Powers: none
Special Limitations: The Radioactive Man emits nuclear radiation in direct proportion to the level of superhuman strength exerted and emits a certain level of radiation even at rest. Only when wearing his null-radiation body harness can he remain safely in the presence of unshielded persons for more than short periods of time.
Source of Superhuman Powers: Mutation by exposure to radiation
Personal Weaponry: (former) Paste-gun loaded with Adhesive-X, the most powerful known adhesive

does anyone have the handbook of the MU for the Thunderbolts? Radioactive Man should be in there

How far back are we allowed to go to change picks?
First and second draft is over.

Right, well, here are some changes & shit:

My team:

Evil Mimic

Flashfire:

Flashfire (Grannz)
Other alias : Tempest I

First Appearance : Uncanny X-Men #107

All Imperial Guard appearances : Uncanny X-Men #107, Rom Annual #4, X-Men Spotlight on ... Starjammers #2, Uncanny X-Men #275, Avengers West Coast #80, Quasar #33, Starjammers #4, Imperial Guard #1-3, Inhumans (3rd series) #4

Powers: Radiate electrical fire from his supercharged cells, using it to blind his opponents, project lightning-like energy bolts, and focus energy releases for protective shields or flight.

Flashfire (Grannz, extraterrestrial warrior)
The full history of the alien Grannz, known as Flashfire, remains unrevealed. He is a non-Shi'ar member of the Imperial Guard, and has been a member ever since their first known activities. He has often been romantically linked to his teammate Oracle. Originally known as Tempest, he changed his code name just before he and several others of the Imperial Guard were confined to Earth, although he has since returned to active duty in Shi'ar space. More recently, however, he and Oracle left the Imperial Guard to pursue marriage and retire from active duty.

Flashfire absorb energy and directly convert it to electricity. He can project electricity from his body, blind his opponents, surround himself with a electrical field, and use such energy to fly.

These two bios can be found here:
http://www.uncannyxmen.net/db/pov/showquestion.asp?faq=6&fldAuto=52 (scroll down for his name)

and here:

http://members.fortunecity.com/dm_bishop2/marvel/imperial.html

(scroll down for his name)

Colossus pre-legacy virus (so that he's within the limits)

and

a very strange choice: Gambit 🙂

So my team would be:

Evil Mimic - Flashfire - Colossus - Gambit

(ps: I'm assuming you guys don't need bios for Colossus and Gambit 😛 )
