And, just for the record, i am also Irish - my real name is Soni Tyrone, its a little more acceptable when you joke about something that you also are - just like that AfroCarribean commedian, was it Lenny Henry? I think it was him - he used to tell jokes about coloured people, now, if a white man was to do that - then it would be classed as Racist, but when a coloured man does that - its acceptable and funny 馃檪
As i say, being Irish i know a lot of Irish travellers, and they all appreciate jokes like that - and there's no reason why you shouldn't either - unless your after attention - or are trying to provoke.

Where were you born?
I wasn't born - i was hatched 馃槈
I was actually born in Perth Scotland, which makes me Scottish born, then moved to Inverness which was home for quite a few years until moving South, my mother was born and bread in Scotland, and my Father was born and bread somewhere in County Tyrone, hence the name he chose for me. My father had a very strong Irish accent - even though my mother had a strong Scottish accent, my fathers Irish accent was a lot more difficult to understand than my mothers Scottish accent.
My father took us around the North of Ireland when i was very very young, however i can't remember much about it, although i've heard there are some great beaches and have seen some pictures of them on TV - although i should imagine they are around the South coast.

SCOTLAND RULES!Glasgow/Glesga rules more than Perth though.馃槵
Never really been back there, left when i was quite young, my family live just over the boarders in Jedburgh, and we visit Scotland about twice each year, Last Christmas we spent a week in Invergarry - between Fort William & Inverness, stayed in a log cabin up in the hills, had our first White Christmas, loads of snow, started snowing late Christmas Eve, didn't stop till Boxing Day! Well worth the money!
Will be going up again around March time 馃檪
