Sex should be the "physical" expression of how a husband and wife feel about each other. It should demonstrate the love that the two have and feel deeply for each other. Sex is but one of the manifestations of the love that a husband and wife feel in their heart for each other. It should not be taken for granted, devalued, trivialized, or cheapened. Hollywood portrays sex as just some cheap, momentary thrill (or fling) between a man and a woman (no commitment, no marriage, and in many cases no love for each other). Lust is lust and love is love. What many people call love is really lust. Love is deeper and moored in unshakeable determination to stay with the one that you love no matter what. Read the Song of Solomon, this Book of the Bible is like a long love letter from Solomon to his bride this should illustrate love in action.
So do you consider it a sin for two people who are enganged a week before their wedding?

Yes, because they are not married yet.
What about defactos? Relationships just as long lasting and strong as any one married. How long do they have to be together in a platonic, loving relationship before they can express it? 20 years? Or would even that not be enough as they haven't "been married"?
