Metroid Prime 3!!!

You earn them alongside the other medals, but for different reasons. All the ones I have so far have been 100 kills, 200 kills, 300 kills, etc. I think the idea is so you can compare (read: brag about) your progress with your friends.

The Fight with the Ice Hunter(forgot his name) was great,that one boss fight and Ridley's were better than all of the boss fights in Twilight Princess

Well I finally took down that barrier on Byrro. Time to go to work.

So is anybody playing this game that have not played the previous ones? How is it?

I'm realizing that I'm not really interesting in this game content wise, but that fact that it's supposed to be so good and the fact that this is the next big Wii Game for a while is going to cause me to buy it just to have it and experience it b/c I'm sure that it is fun.

Well I can tell you this: it doesn't have anything to do with the previous two barely...expect for the fact there is Dark Samus. But other than that it could be the first of the Prime trilogy and it would still be easy to follow.

Yea you COULD play this game without having played the other two. But knowing whats going on will help you better understand everything since the game starts with Dark Samus and explains nothing of her/it's origin. That said this game is so good that everyone should play it, regardless of whether they played the first two or not. (although so is the first Metroid Prime)

I beat that boss a few hours ago. It was annoying. I died once but I figured out what to do before he killed me

Am I the only one who isn't quite used to the fact that a Metroid game has dialogue? I dunno. I think that the voice acting is good, don't get me wrong, but, IMO, it'd be like a Zelda game with dialogue. I'm just not used to it.......yet.

Samus never talks so I'm okay with it

I quite like the dialogue. It makes it feel a lot more real, and I like that it's 242 herself that is working with you, not just some regular computer.

Also, people are having trouble with the bosses? I beat each one I've met the first time I fought it, with no real danger of dying except for using up my energy tanks to fight Mogenar.

I just upgraded my ship and I'm heading to the eastern "?" but I run into these monsters who are in a group of 3.They keep shooting these blue explosive gels.
I keep killing them but the f*ckers keep respawning...
What am I doing wrong?

I just beat the 3rd hunter and got the 3rd grapple upgrade and I'm off to get the Spiderball upgrade so I can get the next suit

This game keeps getting better and better as it goes on, I can safely say that this game surpasses Zelda as being the best game on Wii without a doubt. It is amazing in every respect imaginable. I dont want to start a flame war, but in my personal opinion it surpasses Bioshock in terms of "WTFamazingness!!" and that's no small feat at all. I'm even leaning towards this being better then the first Prime, which would make it my second favorite game of all time next to Zelda😮oT, also no small feat since IMO (and many others) the first Prime was THE best game of all of last-gen and this game is so far, even better. Basically...Prime 3 rocks the house.
