Just had my first death (pretty retarded I must say, got into "corrupted mode" so I had to throw away phazon, but I died 0.001 seconds after getting the "too much corruption" alert thingy), and must say I like this new system of not having to return to the last save point, I was simply teleported back to the last "big" thing I did. Much better, especially since I was about 40 min since my last save.

Personally, I thought that the corruption thing made it alittle too easy, It wasn't really very hard to keep from being over-corrupted.
