No,... the prophecy in the Bible was proved by history.

Unless your disputing that Jesus of Nazareth even existed or was killed by crucifixtion at the hands of Pontius Pilot.

C'mon dude, your very intelligent, don't deliberately try to paint me to look like a jerk.]

And all I really agreed with her on is that she can't do anything with Gone with the Wind.😛

Hey..... God loves you. Really. Just as you are, you are perfect in his eyes. 🙂

So, a jew walks out of the desert and fulfills all the prohecies said to be fulfilled by the jewish messiah, meainng he is gods wrod made flesh. So, these prophecies weren't around to be studied for centuries before baby Jesus walked out of the desert and into history? What about the dozens of other messiah that fulfilled these prophecies. No, I don't doubt that Jesus existed or was cruified. And David saying that the messiah would be betrayed is hardly a basis for a religion that promotes mistrust and hatred all over the world. In fact, so much of what was expected of Jesus is a continuation of the life of King David. Vague prophecies are the easiet to fulfill. Unfortunately, the bible was pretty damned vague, thus allowing the reader to glean from it what they may.

I have no intention of making you "look like a jerk". Do you feel like a jerk?

But Jesus knew about the prophecies and used them to his advantage. This is just as valid an argument as the other.

This is true!!...He was always quoting OT scripture....

Though honestly, people who don't really study the bible are the ones who are believing blindly, while the ones who really were immersed in it saw the untruth of it....hmm

Yes we saw the nonscientific truth. It takes a life time to see the mystic truth.

Explanation of supposed contradiction 1:

A. Chapter 1 tells the entire story in the order it happened.

B. Genesis 2:4-6 gives a quick summary of the first five days of creation.

C. Genesis 2:7-25 is describing only the events that took place on day six in the Garden of Eden.

Not according to the Bible:

Genesis 1:5

...And there was evening and there was morning, one day.

Genesis 1:8

...And there was evening and there was morning, a second day.

Genesis 1:13

There was evening and there was morning, a third day.

Genesis 1:19

There was evening and there was morning, a fourth day.

Genesis 1:23

There was evening and there was morning, a fifth day.

Genesis 1:31

And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.

Genesis 2:4

This is the account of the creation, in the day that the LORD God made earth and heaven.

D. The trees described in Genesis 2:9 are only in the Garden of Eden; the rest of the world is already full of trees from day three. The purpose of this second creation of trees may have been to let Adam see that God did have the power to create, that He was not just taking credit for the existing world. Notice that the second creation of trees was still on day six and was only those trees that are "pleasant to the sight and good for food." (meant for Adam's personal use.)

Not according to the Bible:

Genesis 1:11-12

Then God said, "Let the earth sprout vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees on the earth bearing fruit after their kind with seed in them"; and it was so.

The earth brought forth vegetation, plants yielding seed after their kind, and trees bearing fruit with seed in them, after their kind; and God saw that it was good.

Genesis 1:26-27

Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."

God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

Genesis 2:5-9

Now no shrub of the field was yet in the earth, and no plant of the field had yet sprouted, for the LORD God had not sent rain upon the earth, and there was no man to cultivate the ground.

But a mist used to rise from the earth and water the whole surface of the ground.

Then the LORD God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.

The LORD God planted a garden toward the east, in Eden; and there He placed the man whom He had formed.

Out of the ground the LORD God caused to grow every tree that is pleasing to the sight and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Genesis 2:21-22

So the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and he slept; then He took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh at that place.

The LORD God fashioned into a woman the rib which He had taken from the man, and brought her to the man.

Explanation of supposed contradiction 2:

The birds created out of the ground on the sixth day are only one of each "kind" so that Adam can name them and select a wife. The rest of the world is full of birds from day five.

Not according to the Bible:

Genesis 1:20

Then God said, "Let the waters bring forth swarms of living creatures, and birds to fly above the earth in the open expanse of the heavens."

Genesis 2:19

Out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the sky, and brought them to the man to see what he would call them; and whatever the man called a living creature, that was its name.

Explanation of supposed contradiction 3:

Genesis 2:19 is describing only the animals created in the Garden, after man. The purpose of this second batch of animals being created was so that Adam could name them(Genesis 2:19) and select a wife. Since Adam could not find a suitable mate (God knew he wouldn't), he made Eve.(Genesis 2:21-22)

Not according to the Bible:

Genesis 1:24-25

Then God said, "Let the earth bring forth living creatures after their kind: cattle and creeping things and beasts of the earth after their kind"; and it was so.

God made the beasts of the earth after their kind, and the cattle after their kind, and everything that creeps on the ground after its kind; and God saw that it was good.

Genesis 2:7

Then the LORD God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.

Genesis 2:19

Out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the sky, and brought them to the man to see what he would call them; and whatever the man called a living creature, that was its name.

Genesis 2:21-22

So the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and he slept; then He took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh at that place.

The LORD God fashioned into a woman the rib which He had taken from the man, and brought her to the man.

Do not be sorry, we all die. My father will one day be reincarnated and when this happens, he will have a better life. The reason for this is, I am working on changing his karma by changing my karma. I am connected to my father and he is connected to me. I am alive so my karma is stronger then his.
