I hope the reports of Cap remaining dead aren't correct. With whats happening in Marvel at the moment-Dark Reign, with Norman Osborn running the show-it would be good to see Cap re-emerge and all the true heroes (as opposed to villains now working for the govt and Osborn) unite and rally behind him.

One would argue that he's a human mutate, but mutant? Hell no. Mutants doesn't need an external stimulus to acquire their powers.
