QUICK ! I need 20 good songs !

If the price of CD's and DVD's were lower, people would not download. I pay about $10 for a CD single, with only 2-3 songs on it. Waste of money. I payabout $30 for an album with 10 songs. Again, waste of money. I download because the CD's are far too expensive. They don't need to be so expensive, they could lower the price if they wanted to, but they refuse to.

YAY FOR CAPITALISM. :: Sarcasm implied. ::

Personally I use downloading as a way to discover new bands. Keep in mind, Im not making excuses or anything, I know its wrong, but it has constructive uses. Thanks to downloading, I have found lots of cool bands and ended up buying their albums. So it has benefits.

He wasn't doing it intentionally I'm sure, but people will no doubt then go and download those songs, possibly albums.

Would that would also constitute people downloading movies off the internet cause we have movies scribbled in every corner of the KMC threads?

There is no downloading going on from my part IF its what you implied.

Downloading movies is worse, since far more money and resources are put into movies than into songs.

You waste your own money, the artists don't force you to. You have no right to steal just because you don't wanna pay. If you want it but don't want to pay, what makes you think you have the right to own it? You don't.

Secondly, CD's aren't too expensive. That's horsecrap made up by people who are too cowardly to admit that they like stealing and don't want to pay for the music. Also, if you don't have the cash or desire to lay out said cash, again you don't have the right to own it. If a jacket is too expensive but you want it, what do you do? Steal it? No, you buy a cheaper jacket or the same jacket for cheaper in a different store.

CD's are as "expensive" as they are because downloading is at its peak. If downloading didn't exist, sales wouldn't matter as much and CD's wouldn't be so "highly" priced.

I cant speak for others, but I know I would download less and buy more if CDs were cheaper.

You said you pay $20 for a SONG. You're obviously stupid with money, that's not a band's fault. Don't steal from them just because you don't have the cash to buy their work, it's your fault you don't have it.

CD's are cheap, where are all of you shopping? Big, gigantic corporate stores? Of course they're expensive there.

On Amazon or other reputable sites they are much cheaper. Then you have Amazon Marketplace, just as safe and sometime even cheaper. "The net isn't safe", yes it is. End of that argument.

Use Itunes. you dont get the CD case, which is a bummer, but albums are cheaper, and you dont need to go to the store.

God, nothing is this serious. This thread is about somebody wanting suggestions on some songs. Not for it to become a discussion dealing with legal issues.

Cool off people.

is it comprehensible.....

You don't need to go to the store on the net. Amazon, Caiman etc.

Hear, hear.

I can only draw the conclusion that you've not looked far. You can get CD's for extremely cheap, safely, on the net.
