I'm sorry people, but the character of Lana is in fact a terrible person. She whines and complains all the time and yet she willingly walks right back into situations that any logical person would realize are going to put her in the same position she was just in. Worse yet, she never takes responsibility for the role she plays in all of her troubles... it's always someone else's fault and never her own. To that I say this: grow a brain you stupid b**** and learn from YOUR past mistakes.
To anyone that says that Clark deserves everything he gets from Lana and more... no he doesn't. Clark has been raised by parents who have instructed him to keep his secret at all costs and have reprimanded him every single time he did something that even slightly exposed himself (and let's not talk about when he told Pete his secret). In addition to this, Lana has been practically demanding to know his secret from the very first episode "because she has a right to know." Remind me again, how close were Clark and Lana at the beginning of the show? Oh yeah, that's right. They were neighbors that barely knew one another because Lana's necklace was Kryptonite. If I had a 'friend' that was demanding to know every last detail about my life from the very moment I met them, (including everything I didn't want other people to know about me) I would probably be very hesitant to tell them too... and I haven't been raised by parents that have encouraged me to keep my secrets at all costs. At the very most, it can be said that Clark and Lana are equally responsible for their relationship failing and thus neither one can be said to be deserving of anything.
Another fatal flaw of Lana's is that she complains that everyone pities her because of what happened to her parents and yet her actions say otherwise. Someone needs to smack her and tell her to get over it. It happened a long time ago; there are thousands of people that have had harder lives; she still has a lot going for her despite her parents early/tragic deaths. (looks, good interpersonal skills and apparently enough art talent to get a scholarship at the age of what, 16?)
use some logic and common sense for once if you all hate her character so much people.dont watch the show.It pisse me off off that Lois Lane was brought into smallville, guess what? I used logic and common sense and stopped watching the show.something you all could learn from on your beefs with lana. ๐
and YES clark DOES deserve the crap he gets from her.He goes and treats her like crap after he rescues her all the time.He is only gettign what he deserves.
that would be the logical thing to do. ๐ a major character in a show, use some logic for once.It would be one thing if she was aminor character liek Pete was but since you hate a MAJOR character, well thats just plain illogical to keep watching it.
oh and the last comment means your a man-spider fan. ๐

thats all fine and dandy,You and others have made your point already about Lana,no need to keep posting over and over and over about her though.thats old.just let the thread die already.
yeah well I hate people like you who bring up a topic about a movie when its the wrong section for that in the first place.you want to bring that up,go to the spiderman section for that. ๐

Getting what he deserves? If that was really the case then Lana should be puckering up and kissing Clark's Kryptonian arse right about now. Can you even count how many times Clark has saved Lana's life? Clark has been there for her nearly everytime she has needed him, whether we're talking about saving her life our emotional supporting her. If I recall correctly, Lana told Clark that he was the first person to see the real her and not just the version of her that she showed to everyone else (thus promting Lana to move her life in a direction that would make her happy).
Outside of lying to Lana about his origins/powers and anything related to said topics and not trusing her (with good reason I might add) what has Clark done to deserve the kind of verbal/emotional abuse she dishes out to him? Lana could have easily avoided being hurt by Clark so much if she would just grow up and grow a brain (in whatever order she saw fit).
By growing up Lana would've realized that whatever secrets Clark was hiding were a really big deal (even if only so in his mind) and realized that it is Clark's secret to tell and that he is free to do so with whomever he see fit whenever he sees fit. Clark doesn't have a responsibility to tell his friends everything about himself just because they want to know. A true friend would realize this, not press the subject with him and allow him to decide when and if to tell them about it. After all, in the end the truth about Clark shouldn't matter as much as the kind of person he is and everyone has some secrets. But did this line of thought ever cross Lana's feeble mind? No.
By growing a brain Lana would have realized that Clark couldn't give to her whatever it is that she needs. Heck, I'd be happy if she would just learn what kind of man she doesn't want to be in a relationship with. Let's look at her past relationships shall we: Whitney - an insecure young man who was too young to know what he wanted out of life; Clark - a 'friend' of hers that clearly has some unresolved issues that make him incapable of being completely open to anyone emotionally; Jason - a young man that was quickly gave Lana reason to believe that he wasn't trustworthy; Clark - same as before; Lex - a man that has an obvious dark side, feels that lying to her whenever he sees fit is acceptable and pretty much the all around darker version of Clark Kent. Despite these numerous flawed/doomed relationships has Lana learned anything about herself or the kind of person she wants to be with. No.
Even if I agreed with you that Clark was completely at fault for their disastrous relationship (which I clearly don't) I would never say that he deserves the extra s*** that Lana gives him. Even when they haven't been dating Lana has taken every chance to get every subtle and not so subtle dig in against Clark. The most Clark deserves from Lana was her breaking up with him and telling him why she is so p***ed off at him.
hmm.. this thread is keeping alive haha.. poor lana
her qualities doesn't equal the qualities of clark kent..
she's boring and all that.. clark needs a more stronger presonality and
that is Lois Lane
