It's your choice.

Why do you think people of all cultures and believes all have come back from a NDE and it was all totally different?

not all totally different but I think the mind does play tricks....I personally have the belief that your dead until risen again..NDE is just getting close and not DEAD...no thought no dreams not jack diddly..lol...is dead....anything supernatural u might think is your mother brother etc..speaking to you is not them...could be something but not them...when you die your dead...our creator may be able to bring us back as is written...for all we know could be aliens who can pull out your memories from your dna...etc...????who knows such things except him who created us...the smarter and more knowledgeable
people get the more questions arise right?...you die your dead..till something or someone brings you back...and if you do exist in some compacity some where then you cannot have connectiions to this plane of reality...is all my opinion..but I still want to go to heaven and work and party!! heaven sounds good to me! hell and not being or suffering whatever your religion says about sounds like it SUX...Id rather work hard and party hard!

Hell doesn't make sense to me.

God created Satan. Satan created hell. But Satan cannot create hell from nothing. Only God can do that. First there was nothing, then God created everything. Everything after that, no matter who created it, still, at it's core, comes from God. Therefore, God exists in everything. There is no place that He does not exist. Therefore, even though Satan created hell, in it's essence, there's gotta be God in there somewhere.

And God's Love is everlasting.
So, His love never ends.
Satan turned his back on God. But God still Loves him. B'cuz, even though Satan rejects God's Love, Satan's rejections are not more powerful than God's Love. He can't stop God from Loving him.
And if Satan is worthy of God's Love, isn't he then worthy of ours? ( Mind you, I don't mean we should love Satan's actions or sins, but what of Satan himself?)

Also, if God's Love is everlasting, then that means that His love for us never ends. Even if we end up burning in hell. He'll still Love us.
So, if we don't accept God's Word, His Message for us, that He loves us, i.e. sin ( all sins are based in someway of rejection of God & His Love), then we are bound for hell.
But once we get to hell, wouldn't that be proof to us that there is a God who Loves us? How do we know? Cuz we now have proof of a hell. You can't realize hell without realizing that there is the opposite ( something to compare hell to) which is a God who Loves us. Now, maybe we can't recieve God's Love in hell, but since we now have the ultimate proof that He & His everlasting Love for us exists, isn't that the ultimate enlightenment? That His Love for us exists & is everlasting. And wouldn't that enlightenment nullify a great majority, if not all, of the pain that is supposed to come from being in hell?

And isn't this post confusing as hell?

the way I see it why take the chance just say your prayers and believe...I honestly dont think science can explain EVERYTHING so Im not chancing it just common sense tells me to be good and say my prayers...if not good enuff...Im screwed with a bunch of other folks...what can ya do?

I think if one feels that they are "screwed" & cannot do any thing (helpless by the grand design) it b'cuz they have chosen to give in into the dogmas of religion. Entering that belief system is a choice.

The Kingdom of Heaven lives INSIDE YOU. There is no golden island in the sky where good people go and die. Hell is not a pit where Satan loves to sit.

In the first place why would Satan obey god by torturing people?

Satan obey God???

However, many religious people do believe this is the way it is.

In the first place why would Satan obey god by torturing people?

My point exactly.
It doesn't make any sense.

It's a city. And it's silver not gold.

Correct, it's actually more of a big open space.

Err, because that's what he was created to do. Satan does work for God in Christianity. The idea of the "war in heaven" appears only in Revelation, meaning it's set in the future (and deserves no theological stock anyway) and in Milton's Paradise Lost. Only Milton directly states that Satan/Lucifer/The Devil is the one leading it, AFAIK.

I always imagined playing golf when I got to heaven. Odd, because I like golf but can think of plenty of things more awesome in real life. But I guess it's the right mix of activity and serenity, and so it fit the idiom I had for heaven as a child.

Hell was am ethereal black tunnel in space filled with every negative thought, emotion, action, or event from your entire life. You'd sort of float through it and experience all of them again and again. Got the idea from a book that a youth minister paraphrased to me when I was young.

never said I cannot do anything just if what Im doing isnt enuff then Im screwed..lol

Where we are now, this is Hell since our life is a suffering from birth till death.
We don't even need to make up a creature which tortures in the most horrendus ways - humans alone are quite capable of every evil imaginable.

Heaven is breaking up the rebirth cycle and becoming one with the source which created us - perhaps Universe...or whatever that source might be...God?

I believe hell is a place.

Hmm, no I have a feeling its not somewhere you'd wanna go.

I made a deal with God.
When I die, I will go to Heaven.
But on the weekends, I will get to go to Hell .

Do you also believe that evil is a person?

No. I mean to you believe that evil is a person (entity), and this person has a name that is Satan?

I do not recognise that interpretation of the situation.

I believe evil is a force not an entity- however there is an entity who pretty much personifies the ultimate evilness, he being Satan.
