Apologies for not posting the YOUTUBE clip i put up earlier in this thread.
I wasnt sure where it belonged.
There are rumblings on the net that although the youtube clip posted earlier do feature clips from a new SW game and stills from the forthcoming Darth Vader game there are a couple of illustrations that relate to the live action or 3Dseries.
Aint official but its the best rumour regarding the tv shows yet ive seen.
On a plus note the inclusion of stormtroopers as opposed to clone troopers is good to see........they were sorely missed from ROT SITH.
I havn't read this whole thread , but I like the Idea of seeing Vader whipe some of the straglling Jedi out, especially Quinlan Vos, I'd also love to hear references to the famous smuggler Han Solo, I don't know if this will be the case though. Most of what I've read about the show focuses a lot on the building of the alliance and some back stories on some pilots from the battle of Yavin.
It would also be great to get some build up on Boba Fett.
Re: Star Wars Television Show News: Sansweet Interview
wow exciting i cant wait its going to be good
3D Star wars, what can you tell us about that?Steve Sansweet: Well, the technique exists. George and Rick McCallum are very excited about it, but you need to do a digital projection of the movie. That's how this system works. Look, there's like 90 screens in the US that have digital projections, the same number they had back in 1999, that's clearly not going to do it. You need at least 1,000 or a couple of thousand theaters in order to spend the kind of money it takes to convert the film to 3D. Late in 2005 and and this year, a lot of theaters are announcing that they are going to switch to digital projection. People have come up with a standard for the projection and they're coming up with schemes in order to finance it. It's just a matter of time. If there will be enough theaters by 2007 or if we'll have to wait a little bit longer. But it's going to happen, and it's going to happen in the near future.
