I think the idea of re-releasing the Star Wars films in 3-D is not the best of projects that old George can be working on. Since 3-D came into existence way back in the 50s it really HASN'T made any serious advances in tech.
I'd be more interested in having Lucas work on Indy4 or the live action tv show than 3-D star wars.

Disagree.
3-D has made leaps and bounds since the 50's style.
The new 3-D will be digitaly projected, with clear battery-operated glasses, so the picture isn't blue and red.
It would be a totally real digital 3-D experience of Starwars.
Many top filmakers, from Lucas, to Robert Rodriguez(whose done a couple of 3-d movies) to James Cameron (whose space flick Avatar will be in 3-d) are interested in the updates of this technology.
I think we'll be waiting quite a while for it though, as not enough theatres have digital projectors yet, to allow for the financing of converting the SW films into 3-d. (and this has been said by Lucasfilm reps, see the thread about the films in 3-D)
Jedi who can and should appear:
1. Tholme (espionage).
2. A'Sharad Hett (raises an army of Tuskens to fight the Empire).
3. Quinlan Vos (spy).
4. Shaak Ti (not actually confirmed if she survived).
5. Assaj Ventress (is turned back to the light, and wants to make up for her sins by fighting the empire).
6. Depa Billaba (how dope would it be if Palpatine found her and made her one of his dark jedi).
