Can't wait. I'm hearing alot of people say Hatton for the upset. Even with his new trainer, I don't think he's going to be a completley different elite fighter.I'm going with Manny
I really don't see why it would be an upset. Hatton is the champ, after all.
Should be a good fight though.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if Hatton picked up the W, but as I said, I'm going with Manny.
The reason Manny has the advantage over Hatton. I simply because he has bin in many wars against Future Hall of Famers. For someone like Hatton who goes to maul his opponent down, with clinching and body bunching. Manny can relay on his past experience with Marco Antonio Barrera, who also happened to be one the best body bangers of his day.
While Hatton, has never fought an explosive fighter like Manny. He will try to relay on his weight advantage, but he will have a hard time with Manny’s distance and rhythm. Manny tends to sprint with a leading strait left. It catches boxers of guard.

Why?...Because he stopped a half hearted De la Hoya?
De la Hoya has always been better at promoting himself as a great fighter than actually being a great fighter. 6 defeats in his last 14 fights does not a great fighter make.
His win over Marquez is more of an achievement I think.
Don't get me wrong...I think he's good but I think Hatton's strength and his new style of fighting under Mayweather Snr will seal it.
Cant wait though. 😄

I don’t think you can change this tigers stripes, in the course of 1 fight. I mean it was previously stated, that he seems to progress with his training. But he has the tendency to go back to his old habits.I want to see, how Manny will handle Hattons mauling (clinching/hugging).
It's a possibility that if Hatton starts taking a beating that he'll resort to his old ways. I just don't believe that Manny will give him a beating.

If we go by styles, Hatton has the advantage. Manny is not a defensive fighter, he relies on bobbing and weaving plus a bit of foot work for defense. A favoring style for someone that likes to maul you down with body shots. Yet the both press forward, their both pressure fighters. And surprisingly both have solid chins.
K.O. or not, this is going to be a war.

Moesly KO’ed Marg.
Marquez KO’ed Diaz
Cotto KO’ed Jenkins
etc....
2009 seems to be one of the best years in boxing.
Looking foreword to Hatton/Manny, Marquez/Mayweahter, and Cotto/Clottey.

Hence the reason I asked why.
He's fought very few people of any note. I don't see why he would be considered an "unstoppable boxer" especially when he's already been stopped by Morales, Singsurat and Torrecampo.
Hatton, on the other hand, has only ever been stopped by Mayweather Jnr....A fighter considered by many to be the best pound for pound fighter in the world and one of the greatest ever.
