I really didn't like the results of last night's main event fight. Either it was a draw or Herrera won it. Either way, Garcia clearly didn't deserve the win. He failed to shine last night and since this was clearly a gift decision, it's just going to raise some more questions about him as a fighter. He's still a good fighter no denying that but going by what we saw last night, he's not world-class.
Heavyweights
I live on the Gold Coast, hopefully Alex will do a Joe Frazier to Wladimir Klitschko!

I'm keeping my eye on Deontay Wilder and Bryant Jennings. Hopefully, they can advance their names in the heavyweight division.
2 days ago Choc (Anthony) Mundine was knock out 5 times with Clottey. His my age and I use play footy (Rubgy League) with him....20 years ago. Give it away Choc!...hopefully he'll do that.

Isn't he the same guy that fought Sugar Shane Mosely last October?
Yeah, but it was a dreadful fight from Mosley and I reckon it was a set up....he wanted the money and he throw in the towel. Mosley in he's hay day...wouldn't knocked out Mundine in the first round.
Sometimes, boxing has set ups ($$$$$) they want the money more then the prestige of winning fights.
It's been done for than 100 years about set ups. It was the mob years ago, now, they fighters and the team do it.

Pacquiao's no longer the same man he once was though, as you can see in this fight.
He no longer has the same speed in his heyday. Father Time took it away from him.
Not sure what to think of Floyd accepting a match against a "washed up" Pacquiao.
Floyd should've accepted the challenge 5 years ago, imho.
Pac may not be the same (though you could say Floyd isn't either) but he definitely has a lot left in him. He's still able to hang for 12 rounds despite his age and that's impressive. He just simply started off slow but as the round went on, he picked up the rythem and got faster.
You got to give Bradley his props too. He's a pretty good boxer so this wasn't going to be an easy fight for Manny (who I still think has a chance against Floyd).

Hopkins made history again last night and now he's calling out Adonis Stevenson. Awesome! Props to Hopkins as usual.
Shawn Porter looked beast in his fight. I hated to see that happen to Paulie, though. I don't want him to go out like that. But still, props to Porter. He has a bright future.
Next fight should be Keith Thurman vs. Shawn Porter if Thurman pulls off the win against Julio Diaz next week (in which everybody think he will). The winner of that match should get a shot at Mayweather next! Of course, that's if Porter doesn't duck Thurman again.
R.I.P. Hurricane Carter.
Didn't watch the fight since I knew Mayweather was going to win but from what I'm hearing, Maidana did WAY better than Canelo. He gave Floyd a really tough fight.
People say Pac was "washed up" but at least he fought a top pound-for-pound fighter and clearly won the match. Maidana, as tough as he is, is still a decent fighter at best and it sounds like Floyd struggled with him. If Pac is "washed up" and fought like an amateur (according to Floyd), then Floyd must be even worse. At this point, many people are now changing their tone on who would win between those two if they fight and at this point, I'm also quite convinced that my boys Keith Thurman and Shawn Porter would probably do better against Floyd than Maidana did.
Fights going to re-air for free on Showtime this weekend. I'll see for myself this time (though I've seen posted on Youtube already but it wasn't completely clear). One thing is for sure; I don't want to see a rematch. If he does have three fights left, then he shouldn't use any of them on the same opponent.
Looks like Adrien Broner got suspended for what his poor choice of words. Boy doesn't know how to act.
